I have not ignored the advice given. Have done the track school and continue to learn more each time out. My stance is this was happening all day. This one just happened to be on video. Before showing the video most had already blamed(or suggested) the new guy for just not being used to that...
When the dude has a puberty stash and acne I will call him a kid. Sure I would love to go back 15-20 years and take out a smaller bike. But that did not happen. I got a bike and learned fast that the track was where I needed to take it so I could learn better technics and how much my tires can...
I am cool with now. I too will not wait to pass. You can hear me talking as we parked for the red flag. I was just surprised at how many condoned it is all. Kid who passed had a ton of skill. I felt that just was not his only option. Know he was about to pass all those guys right before the...
I agree he could have been stuck committing but you can see me cut the throttle at the top of 4 as the guy that just passed me ran up the back of the next guy. I stayed more left then I had in other laps as they got close. He would have seen us all cresting and took a chance. Had he said...
This was not my first track day. It was my first time at Mosport and I was picking my speed up as my tires warmed up. The kid had no reason to come it that hot. He was on a mission and put it all on the line. He had no track. I gave him room and he could see that the corner was full. If you...
I was slowed up by 2 more in front. It's far from butt hurt. It's called this is not a ******* race and its green group. Good on you for passing noobs superstar

I am ok with it now knowing what to expect. Now having a bit of time on the track I will be comfortable with increasing my pace. This was the only video I could load as the camera crapped out and I have a bunch of 6 second vids. My times were coming down (1:50s) a lot even with the rain but...
It was 2 sessions after this the guy on a 300 Kawi crashed going around 3. He passed me a few corners back and I stayed with him as he had great lines. It was getting wet so I backed off and was not feeling his speed in corner 3. He lost it and lowsided. I was talking to him in the paddock...
What you cant see it that our pace was almost the same and I had 2 riders in front that I slowed and knew I could pass on the straight. Him and I could see the lap traffic from the top of 4, I slowed and he took it as a chance to pass us all. Could have passed on their outside as well but...
Here is the video. At 10:16 you can see one of passes I did not agree with. Was held up every lap by traffic and crashes but never did I put another rider at risk.

I agree boyoboy. My buddy that runs in the red group said that the green may be more of a intermediate/red then a true green. But at the track they just said no passing and first run out we get a leader. So you are totally correct

I am fine with getting passed. Even stayed with the ones that were not on slicks. But Livewir3 posted his crash and I wish him a fast recovery and have learned something from every time out on a track and that is why I go

I am sure you can agree you have had many times you could pass someone but said to yourself it not worth it and wait for a better chance. They passed as is we were the difference in the championship points and put it all out there

I saw one of them crash out and ruin my session as he passed me in the wet. I knew my limits. He ate the grass. Had he passed me on the inside I would have gone down as well... I raced DH bikes and he almost hit me. At hi speed I am calm and comfortable. I am used to having rocks,trees...
