I commute daily (80-100kms) on my bike so I go with ST30's.
Good tire with good wear. Feel good in the wet, and planted in a corner.

Ride defensively, be aware, dont tail, dont ride in the blind spot of a car.
Follow this and you see problems.long before they are a problem. It becomes second nature after a while

Oh really? If you can't pay the 2k for insurance then how do I have any confidence you can afford to fix my car you smashed into.
Accidents happen, no one is immune to that.
Yeah insurance is expensive, but if you can't afford to cover your ride then you can't afford to ride.
Justifying riding...
I think I want to get my old 81 750f back on the road. I have a daily bike. I'd just like to take the Honda out for a small ride now and then so she dosent sit another year.
I know there are rules about how many km's and where they can and can't go.
I know I'm qualified for it
Over 35
18...
My broker that's who. I was told by 3 brokers it's the price of the replacement of the bike that would take me from $980 a year for full coverage on my FZ to $1800 for a Superduke. My legs and income will break the same on either machine. On top of that they sure do know what machines are...
FZ09 vs a 300 is a huge leap. Not to mention that because of the affordability of an FZ09 a lot of noobs bought them and wiped them out creating a reputation for the bike.
Missing a lot of info here but that jump in price does not surprise me.

A hard pill for some to swallow but play=pay
I'm sure I could have done better with insurance when I started, but I was learning the insurance game at the time too.
You know my broker actually suggested I get married just to drop my rate?
Bigger, faster, pricey-er
More money to ride.

Been a Loooooooong time since I posted in GTAM.
Seems like things haven't changed.
I've been riding since 2000 when I was 19. My first ride was a 1981 Yamaha Riva 180 and my rate was $1800 a year for basic liability living in Mississauga (one of the places for highest insurance rates)
To say...
I ride 118 to the cottage all the time. Cant tell you how many times cars pull across the the center line to pass the car ahead of them, only to go head on with me going the other way.
Im not saying thats what happened, but i wouldnt be surprised at all

Man oh man I did good this year then. My 2014 fz 09 went DOWN from 1,300 a year to 980 For the same full coverage.
I had to switch to Aviva but big whoop

Says it's 2003 with 18,000km's and the guy is firm at $6000
I said it sounds like a lot seeing how the bike new in 2017 is...
Sena smh10 is the best product out there IMO. I've used a few different Bluetooth devices. The Sena with the big rotating knob on the unit is definitely the best for ease of use and quality

I use the shell station on South Sheridan way in Port Credit all the time and I've never been told to take my helmet off
