Will do! Thanks a million, I'm open to advice no matter who it comes from. Definitely give it a go next day, elbows out and look in the mirror. Still waiting to hear back from Tim too. If I remember correctly, he was lying down on the grass catching shots of people through turn six. Those...

    Fork Sliders

Yeah I have them on my bike too. Just bought cheapo e-bay ones, lowsided at the last track day and they held up suprisingly well. Mine stick out over an inch, the tech guy (Don) jokingly mentioned they'd be good for standing on when your doing stoppies cause they stick out a fair bit. They did...

That's awesome, should allow for much more track time and it appears they learnt the scheduling from GWB but the Kart Track? Not sure how I feel about that? Should be pretty simple to learn the layout (8 turns).

    TMP - July7th Racer5 Track Day Video

Nice work with the multiple angles! The longer transition really has a cool affect. Was the angle facing you with the go pro suction cupped to the windscreen?

    Ultimate Track/Racing RV/Motorhome?

Haha the shower floor glows! Even if I won the lottery I STILL don't think I could afford it. I'd be interesting to know pricing. Not a majorly big shop for the motorcross bike? 1 bike max from what they're showing...

You notice very bad body position on trackday... Do you say something?

Haha, it happens! I have the same setup as you with the timer off to the left of the tach. So far I haven't had any major problems loosing concentration because of the timer. Actually, I'll come in after the session and have to check to see what the times were. I have mine set to display the lap...

    TMP - June26th Video

Here ya go! Hope you don't mind, did a little picture in picture with your video for the added veiwing pleasure. Not too good of an angle from my bike but caught some of the crash. No music either, didn't wanted to add some in, wait forever for it to upload only to find out youtube doesn't like...

Left handers are my worst enemy, as indicated by my lowside last track day... Everything feels so natural on rights, the body positioning, foot positioning, hand positioning on the bars etc... it all just works on rights. We should both do a backwards track day and if we haven't crashed by lunch...

You notice very bad body position on trackday... Do you say something?

Absolutely, if you go out and run it over the berm in 1 cause someone told you to start braking at the cone... Well only one person to blame there... But if someone who appears to have some knowledge on the topic says to hold the bars "this way" while you do "this" and you'll be able to carry...

You notice very bad body position on trackday... Do you say something?

I think it's a great thing to communicate with other riders after a session. Some people may not take criticism all that well but to agree with R1, you never stop learning. Actually experienced this on my last track day at TMP, was following a guy for a lap and a half, was maybe a half a...

    Lets see your track/race videos!

Interesting, but it wont build heat through the carcass of the tire though correct? Resulting in the cold tearing as the surface has a higher temp then the body of the tire?

    Lets see your track/race videos!

Oh ok, thank's for clarifying. Hope you didn't take offence, I still have lots to learn myself with tires. That is actually the entent of my knowledge to be honest... After the last day, I had a bunch of peices of rubber slightly larger than "nerds" in my lower fairing, is this typical?

    Lets see your track/race videos!

Not to change to topic to tires, but my understanding is too little pressure causes heat tearing due to a larger contact patch and the tire building more heat. Too much pressure causes cold tearing as the tire can't get up to heat. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that's how it...

I'll have to get my video from that session uploaded too, I was following you guys at the start and caught a bit of the lowside at 720P on the go-pro.

Well it may have just been the songs I was using, similar to R1's, no one gives a **** about them... lol But worth a try since your using super fast internet.

Try crediting the songs in the description to video, not sure if that puts you in the clear but it worked for me and worth a try? Or get a Vimeo account?

    TMP - June26th Video

Yes this was definitely a hijack of R1's thread, but good to get all related videos from the same day in one thread. As for turn 6, I was doing my best to follow the cones that day. In accordance with cones, turn in for turn 6 is way late which may not be the best line for me, I'll have to try...

Yeah I signed up for this a while ago, hopefully the track has enough time to cure after paving. I am really looking forward to not getting up at 5am to make it to Cayuga from London.

That damn Go-Pro suction cup would probably take a chunk of the bodywork off before I'd lose it. Mind you the non waterproof cover wouldn't have held up too well in the lovely swamp puddle. To be honest, not really. I've heard when things like that happen, time goes in slow motion. But for me...
