Im pretty sure that ken explained it to me that you could go to another series and earn points towards the final but Im pretty sure that you can not go to RACE and get point that count towards a SOAR championship. If you could clear this up kneedragger it would be helpfull. And I never said...
I think you talking about the magic number you reach to get to the extra race to decide who wins over all the different "areas". But if that is the case and there are no real champions from regional racing then why would I race any more then to just get to that magic number?? Im sure the number...
Back to the original point issue. With the points based and biased to those who participate (aka just finish), the championships will have much less value than before. I hope this will bring more people out but with this system but it will make me show up less. If there is no championship to...
I dont want to hurt any feelings but I have been to tmp lots and the only place on the tracks braking zones that have bumps that could upset the rear is 7 a/b if you hit the turtle. You are dropping the clutch too hard and whatever slipper is not able to handle it and thats causing your hop. If...
Where does he instruct? I would like to know as I am a flight instructor and never want to be put in the same category as this guy. And if no one answers this then I will assume hes freelance because he couldn't keep a job.
because someone will come out in red and not be able to hear me when Im passsing and move over into me rather than giving the space that anyone else would.
And not to do with the above quote but if you dont test for racing at trackdays when are you suppose to test?
My question is why would you want to be listening to anything or concentrate on anything besides whats going on on the track? its not a sunday joy ride (ok kinda is but you know what I mean)
This is kinda backwards IMHO. the important stuff to me is tires, brakes and suspension. All three of which (at least on sport bikes) are far better with reputable aftermarket companies. The stock stuff is adequate and built to a price point. ASV is one of those reputable companies and they...
Holy crap. Hes got to get off the rev limiter. I think I even heard it cutting in on a couple of down shifts. Gonna float a valve. Plus its hurting lap times a lot. Sucks at the end with what I thought was him hitting neutral. Watched the race and it was very entertaining.
not sure who it was that won rookie but can someone warn him that its really dangerous to be weaving down a strait like he was before omg. there wasnt anyone close behind him luckily but I think that was his attempt at blocking on a strait.
of course they will be hotter but he asked for advice. I said that you need a specific temp if u want to run warmers. Last thing you want is for them to be to hot. its destroys rains. your advice was right in the first place. Ask the tire rep. They know whats best for the tires. I will continue...
Its a race. cant wait a few laps for warm up.
I dont run warmers when I run rains....mostly because I have dual temp warmers. If I had digital I would find out the exact temp they should be at and set it there. You can usually run fast right away. I have been on dunlop and Bridgestone.
Having Not ridden at SMP other than to take fast a very long time ago my expectations were quite low. how ever I was able to finish just behind Tony Lani for 5th in am 600 and rounded out with a 5th in am superbike aswell. with more time on the track i feel i could have been fighting for a top 3...
I never hit the Grass. 310 Black and red gixxer. I was passing ghostbuster all day long too. Didnt Catch his real name but I met him when he was riding with tim at the racer5 school a couple weeks ago. good guy.
I was one of the ones far faster than you. I wouldnt normally say something like that on here but in a "fast group" at a track day has nothing in real speed so dont think your hot **** when your running in to the back of people....whether they r your friends or not
