Does that mean Aubrey has raced a 1000??? I thought I should speak up because guys on litter bikes keep say 600 rider should be just as fast. if there is no advantage in having a 1000 than why would people have them??? 600s are cheaper to buy and are easier on tires. if both go the same speed...
I love the woodcraft warmers....my choice for whats on the market. Not to take anything away from bickle warmers because they are my back up warmers. The set I have of bickles have never let me down. Only reason for the preference is that the woodcraft have some nicer features.
I disagree...If you take two riders with the same abbilities and one is on a litter bike than the person with more power will have faster times. I also dont think that Aubrey has raced on a 1000 at tmp
your crazy not to consider all bikes when looking for a track bike especially the gixxer for one main reason.....PARTS. you can find any part that you broke on sun the next day because people are always selling stuff used for them. The R6 is the next best for this but I would eliminate triumph...

In short...you can go very fast on them. I am a tire warmer advocate though so think about picking up a set

Fuel stabalizer isnt for the cold. if you plan on the bike sitting for an extended period of time...put it in. its cheap. as for the battery its a toss up. I know people who leave it in the bike all winter and dont worry about it. I take my batteries out and trickle charge them in my workroom.
I think it is great someone is trying it and that two organizations are working together. I do agree however that Calibogie is too expensive for Soar to be running races there.
