Tires are Pirelli Angel ST. Put em on at Wheelers by Deals Gap 3 weeks ago. They are now at 5,500km. I am getting close to the wear bars in the middle on the rear.
The bike has a Sargent seat. All day comfort.
I'll post more as I ride through the rockies. Have only been stopping at gas...
I think track riding relates more to riding twisty mountain / canyon roads then the typical riding that gets done in the GTA. Not sure how one would benefit there... Are on/off ramps really that challenging that you need track school?

+1 to Bandit 1200/ 1250. May need some suspension work, depending on how hard you wanna go in the twisties. They are cheap and are Armageddon proof.

With a user name like yours I bet lol
"Rain"
I did over 1,500 km in the rain. Makes you appreciate the good weather that much more. Its kinda cool riding to the edge of the storm clouds and slowly the sun starts showing. Prairies are cool like that.

1055km to go but I wont be rushing anymore. 500km each day. I can barely keep the speed limit with the rockies in sight. I was just in awe with the whole scene.

Take a week off and ride down to North Carolina. You will have a good time just trying to keep to the 55mph limit if its ur first time.

I'll be headed for Lethbridge today. Crows Nest and beyond will be dry tomorrow. As much as I'd like to see Banff and Rogers Pass... I'd rather stay dry.

I gotta decide where to cross the rockies. Rogers pass or Crowsnest pass. So far weather looking better at Crowsnest.

I didn't have any issues with bugs at all. The one time I had to stop to put rain gear by lake superior sucked but otherwise nothing.
It rained 7 out of the 10 hours of riding. A lot of it down pour. All my "waterproof" stuff failed but I had enough layers to keep my core dry which keeps you...
Hopefully it wont be downpour like today.
Kind of excited for the prairies to be honest but that will wear off pretty fast.

If it didn't rain I could have made better time. Had to stop more often to warm up.
Up here its just bush, towns are spaced 100km apart and are tiny.
Pretty cool feeling.

Day 2 Done. 10 hours ride to Dryden Ontario, 810km. It rained all day and I encountered a lot of fog. Its amazing how isolated you feel once you get north of Thunder Bay.

Day 1 complete. Vaughan to Wawa in 10.5 hours. 884km. Best part was Sault St. Marie to Wawa. Very scenic ride in the costal highland of Lake Superior.
