I suggest taking lessons. If your 'brand new' it would be better to drop their bikes instead of your own. BTW Not everyone drops a bike. In my 15+ years of riding I have yet to drop a bike while riding. Now looking at a pretty girl, and not noticing my kickstand wasn't all the way down...

A tow truck would've been cheaper in the end. Doing things cheap ended up costing you more.

Yeah the km is only considered high for those who just cruise to the local tim horton's and home.

Last time I rode the 401 I was doing around 120km/hr and people were passing me about 1/8 the way into my lane. Hell I even had transports (w/o their speed limiters) come within inches of me. I was on the 401 around 2am near Kingston.

The 401 is close to suicide IMO. Pay the piper and take the 407 when possible.

My current VFR750 has 120,000km on the OD. Sadly last year I only put on about 500km mainly due to waiting on parts to come in, wrong parts ordered, work, life, etc., You just have to keep up with the maintenance. However when the engine goes I'll probably just end up stripping it to sell...
