Also love my Forcefield, no complaints about the strap placement though. once on I don't notice it at all. Looking at the replacement armour as well since I figure most stock armour only meets the lower 50 joule impact threshold while the Forcefield meets the top 90 joule level.
Not sure though...
I get roughly 400 km to a tank (leaving about 4 litres till dry so this is the reserve) that's about a 65/35 city/hwy mix.
I drive across the major mack/16th ave corridor every day from west end(Brampton) to east end(Richmond Hill) all on the street. Here the avg speed of cars tends to be in...
You on a black cruiser at Dufferin and Major Mack headed west around 7:30 AM this morning, also a black/silver cbr 250 also headed west on major Mack from Dufferin. Me on a blue Ninja 250, red and white jacket...little nods all around...
Sorry, have to dissapoint you, just welded the thing together. Makes a stronger connection and also shifts much better, I hope this holds till next year. I'll get rear sets then, depends if I still have the bike though...:)
I ride full leather when it's not raining, textile when it does. Leather in 34C is darn hot but good underwear like Aliki's stuff really help a lot. Ideally the pants and jackets that combine leather(at impact/slide points) and textiles for breathability seem like the most reasonable combo. The...
Don't fear carb's, yes the Ninja's have tiny jets but there are many on the road with no issues. Just prep it properly before you put it away and it will be fine in the spring. Leaving the bike still for a minimum amount of time is best for it. I ride from March to beginning of December so the...
The KTM 990 SMT has ABS that will allow the rear wheell to lift off of the tarmac at max brake while cycling and maintaining control, doubt 90% of riders could do this even in the best of conditions....ABS for bikes have come a long way and I would love to have it on my bike....the new Bosch...
except in Brampton the home of the largest collection of useless 4wd vehicles i've seen...the performance gains 20"+ polished rims and 45/40 series tires will give an H2 hummer is amazing...not..
say no to the Megelli because of build quality/design and support from manufacturer, wouldn't really recommend the triumph either as it's not a 250cc more like 675cc and 123hp. The Aprilia looks nice, not sure how available it is in Canada plus there is cost of maintenance and as usual parts...
+1 and if you do, make it 2 or 3 max with people who are responsible and are experienced...emphasis on the combination of experienced and responsible, otherwise go out on your own in quiet areas first and get your primary riding skills to be habitual so they require little to no thought...to get...
Hey Shawna, just got back from vacay, but I just welded the ball joint to the shifter as it's a much stronger joint and the ball joint itself should handle any small alignment issues, works fine. Thanks for the stop and offer of help... a drink/snack on me anytime or if you are stuck give a yell.
Blew my shift mechanism a week ago at 401 & 410 and gave him a call at 5:45 PM or so in the middle of rush hour, came and got me in about half hour and delivered the bike to my home, no issues at all. Good service and price.
