I really love the Mandello when it came out, classy bike and the air diffuser only adds to the beautiful design. Must be a bit distracting but awesome regardless. Congrats on your purchase, hopefully I will have lots of great time on it...

Anything, really, this bike does fit the R line of performance. If anything, the could create a new tamed sport bike line up, that would be more understandable than R7. I don't know, however, if something like the new CB750 comes about from Yamaha using the RZ name, that's something.

Despite the fact that I agree with your statement, I hope, and think, that there is some people that still care for the meaning and history of a name.
