3000 km's is really nothing, it should be in mint condition. Like Johnny said, speedo's can be replaced (and for cheap) as well as rolled back. My car mechanic was telling me about one of the guys he rents out his shop to and how he does that kind of stuff for $100.

I'd say fair but only if it really is how he is describing it. Seems a little fishy with the stickers and powdercoated rims... Most people who do that stuff are doing it to hide something.

We both know Km's don't mean anything. 40xxx My buddy has the same bike as mine with 120 xxx. The engine is not the weak spot on this bike.

I've put about 45 000 on my zx6 and I'm nowhere near close to bored. It's a whole different bike after the 10k RPM mark. 650R is also a great bike but if I was going to go with a touring bike, I'd probably purchase a VStrom or Z1000.

I used to be able to choose which to use but now with the other side of the garage gone, no choice.... The car is very convenient. I will probably be using it one last time this weekend before I winterize. I do miss arriving at work dirty and wet but with a huge smile on my face :)

Just passed 50 000km's on my 05 zx6. Still runs like it did day one. Regular maintenance and its fine.

Last year I had a hole after 10km on my pp2ct. plugged it and used it the entire year with not a single problem.

Nothing wrong with higher km bikes if they are taken care of. My zx6 is closing in on 50k and it runs just as it did when i first got her at 6k. you can usually hear and see most of the problems. look for oil leaks and oil residue on the inside of the fairings. listen to strange rattles -...
