Ken might have an idea as to what might be wrong with your bike though you might need to give some more detail on the loss of power. Is it overall, when you accelerate..etc?
Rose tinted glasses and all.
I get why HD riders do it and believe they probably enjoy their bike the tiniest bit more than I do. But I like that I'm a decent looking guy and would rather sit in front of a fan instead of taking a rock to the face. I'm also not a gambling man.
You're not SOL, but you'll have to provide a strong explanation of what happened. Insurance companies have their own people who will assess the damage and determine who was at fault. For your example of a side swipe, it's probably a bit easier to determine given that one vehicle was moving in...
I never even knew it was common practice to park across the back because I always thought it would only increase my chances of having my bike knocked over or worse. I always park like you do for the very same reason.
They're meant for minor collisions with damages estimated to be under $1000...
This. My first year is $120/month, 2nd year, barring I don't get in an accident will be $70/month. And that's high because I let my G2 expire 6 years ago and didn't get my G1 back until I got my M1.
Having no experience with a manual transmission will make the learning process steep at first because you've never had to understand the ideas behind engine braking, matching gears to speed and clutch control.
Look up a video on how manual transmissions actually work. You probably won't...
I'm derailing this thread into a talk about why we don't wave at cats more.
Sometimes I nod at cows if they acknowledge me riding by. They give me milk or in the worst case (for them) they're my burger, so the least I can do is nod.
With Jevco under John R. Duffy Insurance. Awesome experience with them. G1M2 (First year rider) on a Kawi ZZR250 with fire/theft for $1440. Of course I'm 26 and with the way Jevco works I'll be paying $800 next year assuming I don't have any at-fault accidents.
What are some good started Dual Purpose bikes? I see some mentioned, just don't know if any are missing. I noticed the Honda CRF230M is discounted, not sure if it's a good bike though.
Oh yeah, I definitely appreciate the experience the weather added onto what was already being taught. One of the best things was learning how much traction you can really get from a bike when it's wet, but also how to make it work for you in every scenario. I can definitely see why you would...
Did mine this weekend at Sheridan in Oakville. Weather made emergency braking a pain, but otherwise it just made my hands cold. Was fun either way and I passed, so I'm happy.
Charged the bike and it runs, but it won't stay running without the choke or me giving it throttle. Looks like it just won't idle and every time I disengage the clutch when coming up to a stop it just dies. Could this be idle mixture related? I reset the screws when I took the bike apart.
So I cleaned the carbs last night and blew out the jets. Put everything back together and come out this morning to see if it fixed my bike not being able to start without the throttle/choke. I flipped the gas tank to Prime and hit the starter so the float bowls would fill with gas. Bike never...
They are contracted. Would you re-sign a contract with an increase if they under performed? Sad, but policing is still a business in a sense. They also work under the mentality that there's always someone out there doing something wrong and often times it's not painfully obvious who those people...
