Thank you, yes it's 14, I found it odd that on my bike the Right guard and Left Guard are different. But that seems to be the stock case, there different from factory, funny.
I got a 2002 SV650S few days ago, and the bike sadly has some mismatching parts, since I presume the following part is universal can someone tell me the proper name of it, so I can go and find 2 alike of the following...
Thanks in advance. If you have OEM 02 SV650S part that's highlighted and...
TD is a joke when it comes to insurance. I found a fair insurance for my 02 SV650S for $1870/yr that's with 1yr of having M2, being 23, living in insurance hole by name Brampton and having a "not at fault" accident behind my back. And I'm allowed to make by monthly payments :)

Don't know what TD gave you but TD wanted 10k for a 50cc scooter that was paid off ages ago when I had my M1. So I will pass lol

Well as you know with financing you need to have full coverage. I asked a friend of mine who got R3 last year in Winter how much the bike costs him a year, the bill was around $6k. Believe it or not but an R3 would cost $3000-$4000 to insure. Not to mention $150+ mon on bike payments.
Yeah I...
Yeah. It's a nifty bike, sounds amazing with Delkovic exhaust. Outside of needing minor tune up, new plugs and new break pads as existing pads feel dirt cheap it's all good. Oh and it needs some wiring work as left signals don't work both front and rear. But for that money it's a steal. 80k on...
Thanks all. I ended up picking up a 2002 SV650S for $1400. I don't like to Finance as it requires me to carry full insurance coverage vs. just liability.
Plus I was thinking of financing something like Yamaha R3, after calling around I was quoted $3080 to $4400 that's not including $150+ in...

I know it's being sold by a GTAM member, but I don't think this is SV650, I'm pretty sure it's SV650S correct me if I'm missing something.
haha this was an epic read with the "getting laid" part being the cherry on top. Got nothing against KLR's just not my cup of tea. If the darn 400SM wasn't that expensive I would get it.
That is something I noticed, older cruisers remind me of current Naked bikes, with slightly less back peg position. I'm gonna prob drag Frekeguy along and see what he has to say about the bike and see if he can help me drag it back home. Outside of that if this bikes survives 2 years I will be...
Ok, so I'm in a process of looking for a new bike, my old 2013 CBR250RA died this March as I was taken out by a cager who failed to Yield right of way at a intersection and proceed truth the intersection on her "Red" my "Green", the bike was under financing so the big fat portion of the cheque...
As far as 250's go there is just the Honda CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 250R in rare cases will you find Suzuki GW250, if your gonna go for a beginner bike I advice you look for one with ABS, not a major requirement but will be helpful, don't even try to go 125cc route as CBR250 being a 250 let's...
Few reasons you're getting cheap insurance. Your 44, married and not in Brampton. And you got a cruiser. I fall in the "stupid age" bracket since I'm 23, and I live in Brampton which is a very bad place for insurance be it car or motorcycle.
Does the new 2017 SV650 count as it's rebranded SFV650 Gladius? And what about the FZ-07? Also can you please PM me your contact info and I will give you a shout bit later.
Yep. $2100 for the SFV650 is basic coverage, $2700 gets you full coverage. I had my CBR250RA financed so I know the pain in the *** paying way more then needed.
Yep. I called in Desjardins since few riders have recommended it to me, originally I wanted to pick up a nice 03 600F4i for $3000 but was told they don't insure F4i as it counts as a sports bike. So I was like f-it, I like the SFV650 it's a nice bike and for street I don't really need much more...
Dosen't AllState require either full M to just insure a Motorcycle or you have to insure your car with them as well and they will close their eye's on M2 and let you insure the bike?
