The future of motorcycles is 100bhp.

Ridiculous to say a 100hp bike is under powered. Even more so to establish a maximum on bikes when there is no scaled restriction on cars. England has the vanquish. If you are going to legislate it, at least have it across the board. Vote = totally against it. But really, hasn't the same...

Newbie needs get with opinion on bike deal...

Stay away from an old bike that isn't running as your first one. More of a hobby than anything. I agree though that the Ninja seems high. If you were a little more flexible on your price ... http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-motorcycles-sport-touring-2006-Yamaha-FZ6-W0QQAdIdZ363976581...

My "new to me" 04 VFR800

Saw the bike at Zdeno's a few times. Nice ride! As a 2000 owner ... Gear-driven cams = less maintenance Non-VTec = power when i want it Gotta say though, i like the undertail and the 6th gen has some nice angles.

    $6400 Owner's Manual?

I go with the "Frame" price argument. They want us to register a frame's serial number and if damaged, can never be put back on the road. So if it's the frame they care about, then everything else is parts! Agree with the seller or purchaser on a price for the "Frame" and everything else is...

Need Advice for Road Trip to Maine U.S.A

I love that trip! Right off though, do Newcastle south and run the lake to Picton. Take the ferries across to Fox. First night in Lake Placid ... it's a full day but start off right!

    My New Project!

Ok, so we were all onto the tires and got sidetracked. Have you replaced your tires? If not, kiss that nice paint job goodbye. Regardless of cracks, rubber changes properties over time and if you have oldies, you are on borrowed time! TIRES !!!

    Advise for a Cruiser

Telling you up front - totally bias opinion ... :) Owned most of these ... Star 650 - not enough unless your first bike, a girl, or small (no offence) C50 - great bike, relatively roomy, dull torque curve, revs high at 120km Vulcan 900's - Impressive motor, lots of plastic VStar 950 - nice fit...

    ZZR Weirdness

Just putting this out there before simply start buying things. When warm, the bike is GREAT. However, starting cold is another story. Symptom 1: I have a hotwire alternative to the starter relay as occasionally, and only after sitting a couple of days the starter relay will not do a thing -...

Looking for riding mates - hangouts in town - weekend rides outside of town

The "no ******** from members" is a funny one. I joined a riding group a couple years ago and it turned into a bloody soap opera.

Trailering to Florida in March .... need advice

We've trailered a few times, get a day or two out and bike the rest of the way. Most hotels will let you keep your truck & trailer at the back of the lot for free for the week. Haven't had a problem yet. Of course there's always a first, but we've been taking good equipement with the trailer...

    Honda 2002-2003 vrf vfr reviews???

Really comfy for long hauls! Bikes are reasonably priced in comparison for their ever-so-slightly larger brothers (ST1300,FJR,...). Being completely biased though, why not look a little older. Arguably a better engine, similar frame, less money - 5th gen. You'd have to do givi bags as not too...

    Conversations with Americans

America, home of the free. Have to prepay gas because so many people drive off. Have to verify your credit card at the pump because so many people use stolen cards. Bars on the windows from so many people robbing the stations. I love being Canadian !!!

Zariz Cycle windscreen, helmet, HID review

Well just resolved my fairing situation. Got a refund from Dan @ ZarizCycle so not as perplexed. Communications could have been better as they simply had a problem with a supplier, but ultimately Dan is a credible guy and came through with integrity in the end. You learn alot about people, not...

Zariz Cycle windscreen, helmet, HID review

Ok so i've held off long enough. ZZR250 side panel & front cover. Kijiji'd and Dan responded, Paypal sent April 8th .... still waiting. I keep pestering the girl 1x per week, no return calls, no emails. Got a "Oh sh7t" after 4 weeks so figured forgot to order. No probs says i as the season isn't...

    V Star 950 or 1100?

Had an 1100 custom for years. When replacement time came round went out for a couple of test runs with the 950. Just couldn't do it. LOVED the look. On paper everything is similar, but real ride - too small and although not necessarily underpowered, missed the pull of the 1100. Also, the...

    2011 Kawi Ninja 400R - It's Here...

To me it's close to perfect. Save cash on insurance. Do 2-up and hit the highway. Always have said, drive a fast car slow, or a slow car fast. Probably gets incredible mileage. I know the 250R is a great bike, this seems just a touch more serious so could spend some time on this rather than a...

I went this direction. The real winner would be a discounted insurance premium for multiple bikes - have both ... i just don't get why not !

Anybody with a Sport-Touring Motorcycle that Tours?

I've had the factory, puig, and puig double bouble racing shield. The last looks like a sea shell but works the best for no turbulence. I'd like better wind protection but from everything i've read our bikes ('06 fz6 as well) just don't fair well with the factory touring windshield. I've seen a...
