I have a different route that will get us to Crossroads for lunch. Still keep us off the 400, some different roads but the best of the ol' faithful route and still avoid the traffic on the way home. (I think). I will be able to go either Saturday or Sunday the following week (Aug31/Sept1) so...

Sunday, Famous Sams. Woodbine & Stouffville Rd. Meet at 9, stands up at 9:30 Head north staying off 400 series. (5 mins on 404) Take 35 so if anyone wants to peel off to do 507 for a shorter day they can go from there.

If by long ride you mean going north again we should aim for a 9:30 departure or meet at Anninas instead. It is a 10hr day, easy. If we want to keep it shorter or a bit more local I suggest just doing the Port Hope loop. Not as much fun but....

Thanks for the offer of the MV, I am so looking forward to riding it one day but knee is still knackered (hockey has started.lol). I have the other bike up and running and will use it Sunday. I have to decide to either sell it or use it as my local runner and keep the kms down on the other.

Rider was on a gixxer, the cloud of dust pointed out in the video is the busa that went down ahead of him (about 5-6 bikes ahead). Gixxer rider target fixated on the accident ahead of him. By the looks of where the busa left the road I bet that rider made it to the barbed wire fence.
