Sorry I made a mistake about the inner liner separating because it does not. It is just loose in there and difficult to put back on after having it on for a while. It does seem waterproof to me as well.
I have these gloves and do not recommend them. They have the inner later that separate which make it really hard to put your hand back in after you take the glove off. I think it is because it is not breathable that makes the inside wet and not because it is not waterproof.
Most likely a very casual ride down some gravel roads.
I have ridden my CB500X through the small bike route, so it is doable with any bike. You will just go slower.

This is in 2015 the first year riding in the dirt, now I can ride singletrack on my CB500X.
Here is a video of Dave taking it easy and me trying my hardest to keep up with him at Moto 86. This guy is fast on pavement and in the dirt.

The CB500X is a great bike for exactly what you want to do with it. It is not a real adventure bike, it is "adventure style" only. If you have plans in the future of riding rougher roads, the 17" rim will limit what you can do. I have this bike with TKC80 tires and it'll go many places people do...
I finally got out on the ice, still a lot of snow but a ton of fun. I am looking forward to see how it is riding without the snow.

Great to hear you say you want to ride again.
Every Thursday you can take a Spyder for a demo ride at Snow City. My wife has one and I do enjoy riding it. It does not lean, but I believe that will be a great thing for you as it is so planted and safe to ride.
Here it is. I am a noob rider with limited skills, so the video is only to show you what it looks like. I am not trying to say I am a skill rider by any means, but if we're bringing out measuring tapes......
