Try it and see. I am sure the MTO and their computer systems can be tricked. Just use some whiteout and change the date back. Be sure to use a 3b pencil when you are printing in the new date. Ya, that'll work. :agave:
Welcome to graduated licensing.
Canada's Motorcycle can usually get to you between 4 and 6 WEEKDAYS depending on shipment method. I got the wrong helmet size and had to reorder. Ordered on the Friday and had it by noon Wednesday. Course was the following Saturday. But there should be a few local places you should be able...
+2
I did the same as jmills and conundrum.
First day I tried a couple of bikes, I wanted to ride the CBR125s as it was the style of bike I was planning on getting but after awhile I realized it just wasn't working for me. I ended up switching to some other basic Honda and kept that one until...
Thanks, up close its not as clean as I wanted but I will fix it up more when I add the plate LEDs
I think more info on how you did your FE.
A few more pics
And a quick test ride:
I agree with you supporting locally. Could of saved some cash buying outta town on my bike but gave the sale to my guy down the street :). Royal just didn't have the selection of gear I wanted. PLus when I asked about ordering something in they said it would be "Special Ordered" and if it...
They don't have many A*s , was just there yesterday. But I would look at styles and sizes and then order online. I went to a few local places to try on gear and then bought most of it online. I still bought some stuff at Royal (TCX S boots and some small riding gloves) but everything else I...
Well I have my plate thing mounted back to the taillight.... one word. G H E T T O Fender Eliminator. Not as clean as I wanted but it should work. Just have to pop it back onto the bike this afternoon when I am done work. Will post pics when I am done. I'd suggest looking at how mksliao...
Insurance should be around $650-750 for a 250cc (Ninja or CBR). I'm a few years older and I am paying around $650 through State Farm and I just got my M1, did my course and passed to get my M2 and I purchased a new 2012 Ninja 250.
For gear, gloves are a bit high but if you can afford it why...
Well that is true, I was a little more aggressive with my hacking. That piece is gone. Your way would have been much easier. I want my plate tucked in a bit under the tail light which means a little more work. Hopefully it will
look as clean as yours. I will post pics when I am done...
Thanks! I've already hacked off my fender LOL. Just have to sand it down and cleanup some of the cuts and put it back together. Then I just need to pick-up a couple of "L" brackets tomorrow so I can attach the plate holder back on. It'll do for this year. I still need to grab some of those...
Thanks for the reply mksliao. Do you have any pics of your FE setup? I have not started this project yet. I want to take my time with it if I end up going the DIY route, I am off next week so I may begin it then.
I was definitely thinking of this thread yesterday as it was my first time riding in heavy wind and I was only in town getting up to 60-70kpm. I kept on saying to myself ..... "relax and go with it". I made sure I had a good grip on the tank with my legs and let my upper body relax a bit and...
I may attempt this tonight or tomorrow night. How you wire up the led light screws? I have reviewed tons of DIY FE for the 250 so I am fairly confident that I can do that part, just don't want to mess up the simple wiring.
Ya, at the end of that first day you will be dead. I passed out at like 7pm after that first day. The next morning was really sore too LOL. Likely more age related too but once you are back out there you forget about the soreness pretty fast.
That's what I've been doing most of the time. If I am going in a straight line at a slower speed I will do the wave if I feel comfortable. Buts as new riders our main focus should be the bike and not waving.
