I believe that is correct. Had a guy on my M1 course ask the instructor the same question and he was told that he should be okay to upgrade without having to wait the 60 days a second time around. Others may correct me but in doubt call or contact to the MTO people.

I was planning on going with an 2005 or 06 F4i as my first bike but went with a 2012 Ninja 250 instead. I love the look of the F4i's and may look at upgrading to one next summer if I feel I am ready.

I would stick with the CBR or Ninja 250. I thought about the Hyosung but there was not close by service places so I went with the Ninja. If you are not a fan of the look of the current Ninja just wait for the 2013's to arrive.
