For SS TD is still more expensive. I was with them for a few months until I went to reinsure my bike, and then they were quite a bit more (almost 1000) than SF. I was with TD MM, and cancelled my car after 3 months... paid a light penalty but it can be done.

My battery did the same thing. Couldn't tell you why.. but it was dying slowly from last season. I had the tender on it and it said full for weeks, but wouldn't crank at all. Changed the battery and all is well :).

both are great, but I think kerosene would strip the clear coat if you rubbed at all... I may be wrong, but I like to be safe and stick with WD-40. I put that **** on everything. Don't use butane... it will strip the clear coat. I learned the hard way so you don't have to!

I find splitting really dangerous even in Cali where it's legal. I do however feel that flitering at a red light is harmless (if done slowly and carefully).

That looks really good! Maybe I missed it, but is there a trick to prepping or is it just sandpaper and a lot of time to strip the old paint?

Not sure if I missed it in another post but should I remove frame sliders or keep them on? I've heard frame sliders make the bike tumble in the dirt. I'm also planning on buying track fairings.. even though my street fairings are already crap.
