I think the best explanation from rossi was because it felt like he should. Also noticed they pretty much only do it while the back wheel is in the air or has no weight on it, his body acting like a sail probably helps to back the bike in.

They did this in edmonton, ran a huge blitz and didnt even hand out enough tickets to pay for the measuring devices. if you end up with a spot open i have no problem committing to coming out in feb, plus then you have someone to drive the treacherous midnight shift through the hills lol. Pretty sure you'll have er all filled up though.
