The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Thanks for the message. I did a long drive in August and ended up with a blood clot in my leg. Dealing with that now so riding has to take a back seat. On blood thinners for a few months and then get to reevaluate. Anyone interested in a good deal on a good bike, let me know.

    Ducati Pitbull rear stand

I have the hybrid one. Sometimes it’s nice for space/storage purposes to lift from the right side because the handle doesn’t stick out beyond the back of the bike. It stays tucked under the bike to avoid you stubbing a tie or tripping on it.

    Trailer talk with GVH

I have a Kendon 2-bike folding trailer in my garage that belongs to a friend of mine. I’ve used it a few times and it is amazing. High $$$ but works as advertised. https://www.kendonusa.com/stand-up-folding-trailer/

Anyone ever done serious mileage on a ducati monster?

Still willing to answer questions about the model if you have any. Bike is a lot of fun, runs out of push around 180km/h as it’s not designed to be a high-speed rocket but a torque filled powerful roadster. Great bike to play around on twisty back roads. Not a lot of fun in city traffic as it’s...

Anyone ever done serious mileage on a ducati monster?

PS, a magnetic tank bag is of no use with this bike, the “tank” is actually plastic panels that cover the fuel cell and other bits. With respect to touring, the bike I’m selling includes the stock seat, the Ducati Performance comfort seat and the Ducati Performance factory tail bag. The Ducati...

    stiff neck while riding

Not sure if immobilizing your neck is a good idea, it would severely limit your ability to perform shoulder checks and be aware of your surroundings. Perhaps light stretching before riding would help loosen things up. You could also consider a visit to a chiropractor or masseuse and tell them...

    No more demo rides?

Let me see ... a group of riders who don’t know each other have to follow a leader who doesn’t know them and everyone is on bikes that they’re unfamiliar with while navigating texting cagers, kids playing road hockey, grannies heading to bingo and big Al who just left the pub. Would any of you...
