I think you're mistaken as to what the 848 is...
this is the 848, there's A LOT of noteworthy differences between the 2
These are the 899/959 with some of the cosmetic differences highlighted other than that and the obvious engine differences the 959 has a slipper clutch, the swingarm is...
I don't understand why people look at financing as such as bad thing. If you have a bunch of pre-existing loans and you get a crappy 5-6% interest rate sure, but if you can get anything 2% or less its a viable option. I got 0% on both my bikes and its worked out really well.
My Ninja back then...
it's 2 cylinders. You get a bit more torque out of the thumper but for what it is it still makes for a boring bike. The 250 singles flatten out at about 10k rpms whereas the Ninja is just getting into its powerband. Makes for a much better hwy ride and just overall fun machine.
op how long will it take to save another grand or so?? You're much better off buying one for $1800-2000 that's a decade newer...
Hell, my 100k km+ Ninja is much better than a 25yr old unknown bike. I can tell you from experience that 250's get beat to **** by dumb noobs and most have been...
In 2013 it was the 899 there's no such thing as the 898. I've got a 2016 959, the shock and mounting position as well as the swingarm is the exact same as the 2013 899. I think what you're referring to is the 2012 848 evo.
I wonder how many we'll see blowing up and how long it'll take...what an ugly *** can though, hideous. The fact that it makes less power than the Ninja 250 which was introduced in the late 80's also makes me go wtf :confused:
Pledge is the cheapest and most covenient. I've also used Harley Davidson branded stuff in a spray bottle and Motul Wash and wax in an aerosol. They all seem to work equally well but only if your bike is just dusty and not dirty.
Its hilarious you guys are complaining about it being a waste of ink and paper...every show I always feel so sorry for the poor kids (usually 3-4) that are stuck standing around handing them out to people many who just toss em in the nearest garbage. Even if they pay them minimum wage for the...
DO NOT use car wax or anything like that unless you want your black trim to turn white. I got some wax on my black trim when I was polishing the bike and that was the only reason I needed to get the Autoglym stuff in the first place.
you're a bit far or I'd suggest you come over and try some Autoglym Bumper and Trim restoration gel I have. It works quite well and lasts much longer than the basic stuff.
This is one reason I hate second hands bikes; having to deal with all the stupid **** previous owners have done to it.
I've got a 32gb Black S7 Edge I'd like to get rid of, its in great shape (9.5/10) and has only been used for a couple months. It comes with the original box and all the accessories that have never been used. This phone retails for nearly $1000+ tax so there's significant savings here and its...
when you have to resort to this you really need to stop....
yes, that's an actual ad campaign they were running for the few remaining Buell Blasts. They were selling for a few grand too, who the hell wants to buy a big autographed hunk of junk that was a piece of **** to begin with. These...
The main difference is that the 5 has an extra zip that can be undone and create a couple more inches of room. The 3 doesn't have the expansion capability.
Despite what their ego may tell them pretty much NO ONE who never owned a bike before has an itch that can only be scratched by a supersport. There's a lot more to motorcycling than just supersports.
Hell, who I am to talk, I just turned 27 today myself and can't wait to scratch that same itch...
