    Buying first toolset

Just buy some standard phillips screw driver set for cheap and grind off the point. Instant JIS screw driver. Whats even held on with screws anymore though, both my last bikes is all allen heads and plastic pop rivets.

    Cylinder honing and piston match

Hey guys I have an old DT125 two stroke im rebuilding, got a real nice bottom end but all the top ends I have are pretty wrecked. Anywhere near downtown that will do cylinder honing and piston matching? Rather not drive all the way out to suburbs. I'm fine with mailing them too if theres someone...

    2017 Honda Rebel

The new CBR250 is a twin, I am assuming this would be the same engine? Might be the old one still though, but it wouldnt make much sense not to refresh the whole lineup.

    Buying first toolset

I have the same one but just keep in mind its got to fit under the bike. That one doesnt fit under my sport bike with the fairings and exhaust on, so I just use a baking pan and then dump the oil into that container so i can drive it somewhere to get rid of it. As far as tools I love the...

Share your fail stories of newbies starting on supersports

Whos he with? I wouldnt mind paying that, paying almost the same for a FZ6R because I couldnt get a decent quote on an R6.

    Good bike shop for customization

Isnt town moto just shop space rental? I dont think anyone there actually works on bikes that arent their own. They have a full garage with a lot of good tools but you'd be doing the work yourself as far as I know. Its also $$$$$$ to rent the space. Theres a custom shop on kiplin near jevlin...

    Aftermarket Clutch lever gap

Youre talking about a 280 dollar difference though... My time is valuable but not that valuable. Got no problem spending 10 minutes with my dremel if it means not paying 300 bucks for 50 cents of billet alluminum.

    Aftermarket Clutch lever gap

Are you SURE the brake side is ok? I have those same levers and straight out of the mail the brake lever was not ok, the pivot cup was too shallow, if I installed it as-is it would have lead to my breaks eventually locking up. Just double check to make sure that the depth of the pivot cup is...

Used CBR, $2600, is that a decent deal?

I just sold one for 2k cash, it was all stock, no damage, 7400km on it. 2500 for that beast in the OP is overpriced. If you wait a few weeks you will find lots of deals, theres a lot of people trying to buy bikes now because the weathers getting nicer, in a few weeks these 250s will go back to...

Security/GPS? What works best to keep my girl(Bike) safe?

Insurance. Thats the only solution. If people want your bike they will take it, doesnt matter what you have protecting it. I have a chain and a lock now after my last bike was stolen, just stuff from home depot not one of those 200+ dollar pieces of **** they try to rip you off with. 10...

Moto Revere - Anyone has any experience with this place?

I am 99% sure this is the evolution of the DTT guys who were renting space co-op in the same area. I walked by there the other day, they have a *lot* of bikes in there so I dont think theyre going anywhere soon, rent would be insanely cheap on that building too, most of those shops have been...

    Where are all the FZ-07s?

I was looking at the FZ07 last year, but decided to go with the FZ6R instead. Same insurance bracket, more of them available which means more affordable prices, and theyre fairly bullet proof. The only thing I didnt like about it was the handlebars, they feel like MX bars, so I swapped them to...

    Price check input YZFR3

Thats probably where hes getting it, I got mine there last year for just under 4600 so they can definitely go that low and still make money. Most places still have the 2015's, even though its popular it looks like they made too way too many. The 2016 is 1000 more for the same bike, so even...

    Price check input YZFR3

4600 is the best you are going to do for a while, I'm surprised they still have 2015's in stock because the R3 is an incredibly popular bike. If you want one, buy it. The 2016's are about 1000 dollars more and I would guess the 2017's will be priced the same since sales didnt slow down much. You...

    Lucky day

Tell me about it, last week had a guy in a van, on a cellphone, make a right on red, almost taking out me and a bicycle, the guy on the bike actually hopped onto his hood to avoid getting crushed... 6 cops were standing on the corner watching it happen, didnt even move. I pulled over and was...

    Over priced market on Kijiji

Ninja 300 is overpriced because its really popular. If you want a good deal, find a different bike to buy, there wont be any good deals on ninja 300's for the next 10 years if it follows the same pattern as the 250 (which it is).
