I have a fairly simple solution. Obviously it's iimpossible to use a touch screen with gloves so I have a cheap $40 Sansa player with a 8gb micro ad card inside (that's about 2000 songs). It's small enough that I just Velcro it right ontop of the gas cap. It has a click wheel so you can...
Yeah I would look up the address on google maps and either punch in the coordinates or roughly point on he map where to go and go from there. The Garmins sometimes have a weird way to input addresses. Highway 7 is just "7"
Yeah I noticed straight away that you can hear the exhaust clearly. What setup did you do for that? I have a gopro hero 2 with external mic connector...
Let me introduce you to the best, easiest and cleanest cruise control. I have one for my cruiser and it works flawlessly. Check out the video on their site to see how it works. Love mine.

Im actually quite surprised. Nothing at Canadian tire, Napa auto had no clue and I also tried Partsource as well. None of them were able to help.
Ill be at snow city tomorow they have some cables apparently.
No luck with Glen he just recommended a surplus electronics store but it's a little out of my area. Gonna try contact a couple of car audio places first and see if they can help. I like what I see from that sirius place but I don't have exact measurements yet. No luck with napa automotive stores...
Great ideas everybody! Thanks for the tips. I think the siriusconinc place looks promising, already made nicely done cables and the audio place sounds like a good idea too, I know those guys need huge cables to handle the wattage from their stereos.
Thanks again !!
Restoring my 1982 Honda CB900F one of the battery cables from the starter solenoid is missing. I have a thin wire running right now but of course with all the amps going through it its burning up real quick.
Where can I find battery cables that can be cut and crimped with the right size...
The lines are custom made by apex. They came out very nice and have the correct orientation for the end pieces too. What are oversized lines? The length or the thickness? Then you mention micro lines?
I ended up finding a locksmith who specializes in motorcycle keys! He had an entire wall of keys ready to go ranging from bikes from the 1930s to any new key. It was a little pricey but I got 2 perfect replica keys for my 30 year old bike. Great service and the guy who helped me is a member here...
I can't seem to find real contact info for Apex brakes.... Is that a brand or a company? Who is elite automotive? I want to take my brakes in but not sure which one I'm supposed to contact. Where is apex brakes?
Thanks everyone. That will help get one step closer to getting this old beast to run!
So I have stopping power coming... Just need to get these carbs cleaned and see if she will idle properly.
I am restoring a 1982 Honda cb900f and would likento make a custom set of front and rear brake lines for the bike. I can't seem to find a set ready made to go. Where can I go to get this done?
I think there's a problem with that website... Everytime I try to register the website just goes blank after you fill out the form. Tried different browser and computers but no luck.
Pictures coming soon, it's all naked at the moment!
Can anyone recommend a local locksmith who is able to make a copy of my 1982 Honda? I've tried calling Honda dealerships and a bunch of motorcycle stores and canadian tire to get keys and no luck... The blanks are not a usual shape !
Ugh! What a frustrating day. I went with a buddy of mine who's got a truck and that bike was way too long to fit on the bed of the truck with its toolbox on it. We weren't even able to get it on the ramp because the back wheel is siezed. I'm wondering if I should pick it up with another cargo...
