Ok, coming out for a ride now. Had a busy weekend and didn't want to deal with traffic going downtown. Pretty sure I know where I'm going, used to live at King and Bathurst.
OP shows a lot of self control and a very good understanding of personal finance. Never carry debt if you can avoid it!
When he gets back on the track, he'll be the one on the Ducati.
I bought a bike with a lien showing on the UVIP.
Bike was in Ottawa
I brought 80% in bank draft and 20% in cash. In case the bike wasn't 100% and price had to be renegotiated.
We talked about the lien from the very beginning. Loan was from dealership. He paid/discharged the lien the week before...
I'd be ****** at you if I was driving the car. Headlights from behind are annoyingly bright when the road is empty and dark.
We drove back from the East Coast with two cars. At night the second car stayed WAY back.

Can you take the license plate number/driver license number/VIN to the police? Tell them the whole story and ask them to relay a message to...
Would the taxman compare notes with the MTO when you sell your property and claim it as tax free principle residence?
And OP's condo is technically an investment property since he does live there?
I thought Insurance companies are counting years with insurance coverage and NOT just years that you are holding a licence.
So if OP never got a bike insured with his original M2, he would still be starting at zero.
What if I only have liability coverage on my bike and the guy who wants to borrow it has full coverage on his own motorcycle? He has more coverage than me. If there's an accident:
1. would his full coverage extend to my bike?
2. If it's "at fault", is it my (bike owner) policy or his (the rider)...
A bike doesn't need a lot of current to start. I have a set of 14 gauge wire booster cables tucked under the seat of my 250 Ninja. I made these up after my alarm killed the battery. Some a@@ knocked over the bike in the parking lot and alarm kept going. That time I just push started the bike...
