I would guess a couple bought the bikes as a pair. Went for a ride down south. Somebody got injured and they had to fly home. Now they're either loaded and can afford to write off the bikes or the injured person doesn't want anything to do with bikes again.
I'd love to hear the real story...
Get the VIN. Then $20 at the MTO will give you the last registered owner from the Used Vehicle Information Package. Those bikes might still be worth $10k.
My dad's car has had it for about 3 years. Head unit up front has camera and screen built in, rear camera was included and was remote plug in at the end of a cable. We installed it in the headliner at the top of the rear window. All for ~$120. Starts recording whenever the car is turned on...
I just finished putting a bracket behind the license and mounting the reflectors to the bracket.
Those buttons would have been easier. Where did you find them?
Didn't want to leave the head unit behind, just the rear camera lens that would unplug from the main unit.
That Innova and CanadaDash look nice but cost is high.
The Bullet sound interesting and decent price. Didn't notice if you can plug in two cameras into the control unit for front and back...
Just incase anybody cared.... The reflectors are there so others can see your bike parked at the side of the road when the lights are off.
My used bike came without reflectors and I'm going to put some on. I'm thinking of framing the license plate on both side and the bottom to get the coverage...
Didn't want to hijack the other car dash cam thread.
What camera setup are people using on their bike? My dad's cage has front camera unit with a remote rear camera plugin. Anything like that available for weather exposed mount? Especially the rear camera which will probably be under the tail...
I've noticed on my bike and most other bikes that have the huge rear fender removed all don't have the red reflectors mounted. The tail tidy kits don't include reflector mounts.
Has anybody gotten a ticket for missing reflectors?
North America Biker Rescue
Its a FB group that does what the title says. Bikers helping bikers.
....I joined but somehow, now I can't see them when I'm logged into FB. NABR said I'm not blocked by them. I just can't see their group anymore. Seems like there's a glitch somewhere and a whole...
I thought regular insurance doesn't cover off-road and track use. Or is that just collision and damages to the bike are not covered but liability is still good in the bush? That's all that's required?
I saw some bikes at the dealer that had blue coloured plates. I thought that's what guys were...
Looking for something different to do this year.
What do I need to take a road licensed bike onto the trails?
Do I need a green/blue plate in addition to the regular white street plate?
Do I need special "off road insurance"?
Any easier trail systems around that can be ridden with Pirelli...
