RTI M2X Course, Test without highway portion

If you fail get over it book another test and fix what you did wrong. Simple as that. Why people are so worried about taking a road test is beyond me. If you fail you are not put up against a wall and shot you go home and do it again, simple. I laugh at riders with their M2 and panicking...

Dealing with back pain & riding.

Inversion table and get rid of the cruiser. Horrible seating position for a bad back. Look into a sport tourer like an FJR1300, I have 2 bad disks and spine messed up. Inversion table 2 years ago and I have had no pain since and riding a sport tourer or sport naked actually makes my back...

[Resolved] $9000/year Motorcycle Insurance for 18 y/o male normal?

Because I put in that I am 54 years old. Full M and have been licensed and insured since I was 16 years old. Hence the low rate. If you are taking about the Versys 300 that is the price they quoted for him same details as the other 2 bikes I tried. He didn't get a quote from TD as fr as I know.

RTI M2X Course, Test without highway portion

Learning to ride in a parking lot on a bike that can't do 100kph is irrelevant. During the training courses you never exceed 35kph so their training bikes do not need to be capable of 100kph. You are learning the skills of riding a motorcycle and whether on a 100CC dirtbike or a 250CC cruiser...

[Resolved] $9000/year Motorcycle Insurance for 18 y/o male normal?

I did these quotes based on his info and age with an M2. And the industry wonders why no new riders are entering the market? Manufacturers need to get their heads out of the sand and start lobbying governments to fix this lunacy.

    Tail of the Dragon

Last year I rode back in one day 14 hours all highway (route in blue). 2 days down by highway (grey route) so how much time do you want to devote to get there is the question. You can back road it down but probably take days.

RTI M2X Course, Test without highway portion

Well I am uncomfortable riding in urban city environments. I would like to take a test that only uses rural roads and highway and still get my full M! The idea of getting a full unrestricted license is to show you are capable of riding/driving on all the roads in our county. Just because you...

RTI M2X Course, Test without highway portion

If you are too afraid of going on the highway and doing 100kph you have no business riding a motorcycle or any vehicle actually. I don't get why people are afraid of highways. They are safer, no cross streets, no cars turning left trying to kill you. Everyone is going the same direction...

How to Pass the Motorcycle Test to Get Your M2

That is the idea of a test. You don't know what is on it until you do it! The training course exercises were designed to be more difficult than what you were expected to do on the test. The test was designed to have you demonstrate that you learned the skills to complete each task on the...
