I'm not sure about this. You dont go and they issue a warrent, next thing u know is ur driving down the street a cop pulls up behind u, pulls u over, u get arrested and u gotta pay for the towing and impund fees, on top of everything. Not sure if that is smart advice plus u might as well get it...

chances are ur buddy will get a call from the cops asking him to come in and as soon as he walks into the station they will arrest him. weather the purse was empty or with money is irrelevant. theft is theft. and charge would most likely be the same (theft under $5000)

u might wanna look into renting a truck and bringing it over. might work out in ur favour financially and then get the insurance u want once its here

if u have car insurance, that would be extanded to ur new vehicle insurance for 14 days, but call ur broker to make sure. and i dunno if they gonna issue you temp plates with that
