Got a screw in my brand new tire at the start of last season. Rode on that tire (plugged) for the whole season. Cords started showing, got tire replaced. No biggy

The stator is a very common problem with the Suzuki's. but I don't believe they have the same build quality as a Honda, or any of the other Japanese bikes (look at the sticker price)... I have over 45,000km's on my 08 CBR. Not one issue... Not a one.

Just leave it alone. And next time try the search button as this has been discussed 100 times over every season... There are stickey's for proper winterization, etc. and may God help You if you post about flat spots on your tires and leaving the battery in the bike on a trickle charger...
