Hello!
June 15th that is... I did this after midnight....
I spent Friday and Saturday taking tons of pictures at the Soar event.
If you saw guy with camera attached to his face that was me...
If you were with Racer5 I have your pictures, many pictures...
Thanks to Racer5 folks for providing...
I would like to find local source too.
Please update if there is anyone selling those parts close by.
I did clean inside bearings with carb cleaner and I packed it by hand
and after that with grease gun on the fitting until caps popped off.
I know it is not perfect but hubs are barely warm...
Yes, Southwood.... I am not going back there any time soon...
Last year I rode that area for two days and had great roads but I was not on 13.
I am happy with the outcome, repairing bike is much better than being repaired in hospital :)
Moving parts are ordered already, pretty parts can...
I managed to drop tiger today in Muskoka Ontario....
I am fine... Even rode it home...
Big THANKS to couple on cruisers that stopped and helped me to get the bike up!!!!
Road 13 is great windy road but it was full of gravel and one corner got me.
We were not riding fast and I was expecting...
Thanks for the input guys! I am not sure that I will notice much difference on my skill level.
I have mid soft Scorpion XC tires now but they are worn so no clue how that compares to new ones.
It seems like I am always all over the place but throttle usually gets me through :)
Hello!
I got WR450F and it needs new tires. Since I am new to all this I have no clue what to get.
Ganaraska is all I did so far and I think I best get tires for that terrain.
For reference it is soft, sandy with rocks and roots in the mix :)
Also rear wheel has lose/seized spokes. They might...
Whatever again...
Here is how buses make it down. I got course info for you...

Apparently not all brake systems are equal... Imagine that...
If someone wanted to come and get bike with the key they can just cut third copy.
Having one key means nothing. I have 3 for my bike. One is flat copy for wallet when traveling...
Whatever...
Once you are stuck at 9000ft behind a bus on 40 hairpins on the way down
with few hundred meters between them you might change your opinion.
You can NOT be in first or second gear and control speed like that, try to
get down the parking ramp for few levels with engine braking and...
I just needed trailer on the road asap. It is not matter of few bucks but of getting all the right parts on time. I have no clue what is the size of the seals for one. I broke grease fitting and barely managed to get replacement. Ask for help anywhere and all you get are blank looks. Mostly in...
Mostly it was used for trail breaking and you can not really ride at any speed smoothly behind the bus going through hairpins. One should definitely not ride down the mountain on the brakes but sometimes there is no choice.
I never experienced it before and at first I was thinking that I had...
I cooked vstrom rear brake on stelvio pass following bus on the way down.
On a hot day with long enough hill going down you can cook brakes.
That is the reason why on some mountains they have brake test area
with nice runoff into the field if brakes fail.
No clue what fluid was in the system...
Well, I did not have bearing packer nor was I ready to destroy hub seal to get inner
bearing out. I cleaned it as much as possible with carb cleaner and once dry I
smeared grease everywhere and once that was done I closed the hub and pumped
grease through grease fitting until hub caps popped...
That is all dug up with construction. Some cars are parked along the street but I am not sure if that is allowed at all.
There is small parking in corner left rest is condo hole.
45$ and few simple questions later (weight for example) you have ownership and plate for home built trailer.
I just did it recently.I DID NOT SHOW ANY PAPERS AT ALL, just drivers license...
Trailer is solid and 120kmph goes just fine. Folding is not working well without removing wheel chock...
I just build one myself, it might be more than day to have all done :)
Helps not to have to go and buy grease fittings because you broke one.
Those things are like made of glass. Small advice, if you do not want to have corners of the wood floor cut off install the floor before you put top...
NO clue about Kymco but my situation was similar to yours and Vulcan was too small. Suzuki S40 was much better fit and I am about the same height. I suggest you look at that bike too.
cheers!
