    Riding Sunday September 2nd

Wait, let me get this straight... you're taking on the role of the good-guy, defending all the noobs who'll possibly get "called-out" on future group rides and possibly have hurt feelings about their lack of skill? Thus you feel justified in your [insulting] argument against Brian P.? Wow...

    2013 Honda CBR400R rumours

????? I used to believe that if Honda motorcycles weren't "the best," then they were finished more nicely or had better reliability. ...and I was wrong. All Japanese manufacturers have had problems from time to time.

Quit our jobs, sold our home and everything in it, gone riding...

I don't think that a lack of funds will be an issue for Gene and Neda, now or in the future...

Quit our jobs, sold our home and everything in it, gone riding...

It must be nice to have that kind of financial freedom, ($$$$$$). That being said, the best part of a long ride/trip for me is coming home... as humble as it may be. The blogs are great---have a good time out there! :)

    really poor customer service

I think you're just like the salesmen you're complaining about. What's the point of a forum like this if you refuse to name the dealerships, (-despite repeated requests)? Just trolling?

Best place to service a Honda

For some reason, Suzuki always seem to sell their bikes cheaper. And I could be wrong, but I believe Newmarket Suzuki undercuts all the other Suzuki dealers as well...? Either way, I think MOP and all the Honda dealers are at the mercy of Honda Canada when it comes to pricing.

    really poor customer service

I'm surprised that Rocky never called you back. Always seemed like a nice bloke to me. Anyway, I've only dealt with Hans, and if I ever buy another Yamaha it will be from him, (-a great guy!!). My buddy bought an R1 from him and it was a very positive experience. He's fun to be around...

Best place to service a Honda

? My experience was the opposite. I bought my 1000RR back in '07 from Scott, (-he is still there, too). It was by far the "easiest" purchasing experience I've ever had for a motorcycle.

Ninja 1000 or Street Triple R (or Hypermotard?)

Why not consider the FZ1? Personally, I like it better than the Ninja. If I were in your shoes I'd go for Serialize's 2010 bike, (bought new last year). http://youtu.be/tQJWw6PgZno

Ducati 749/848 Or Honda CBR 600RR OR Suzuki GSX-R 600/750

Congrats!! I've only heard good things about Ken Livingston [sp?] at GP Bikes for service.

    Undecided and Confused.

There are also semi-faired nakeds out there as well, (FZ8 and FZ1), which provide wind protection and are great all-round street bikes. As for user-friendliness, I believe pretty much all Japanese sportbikes are friendly if you're riding at or near legal speeds. The faster you go, the more you...

Ducati 749/848 Or Honda CBR 600RR OR Suzuki GSX-R 600/750

The 749 is a neat looking bike for sure--congrats if that's the way you go. I can't make any claims about a Ducati motor's flexibility, but most Japanese bikes have motors that can handle different riding situations, (-but you don't want to lug them around at 3000rpms, either). You're in...

Ducati 749/848 Or Honda CBR 600RR OR Suzuki GSX-R 600/750

For my money, it would be the GSXR750, (-the 848 is nice, but is it $6000.00 nicer?). If you're doing a lot of track days, any 600 would be ideal---but the 750 doesn't cost that much more, (-I think Snow City has new 2011's for 10,500), and handles similarly. * * * If you want...

Who in the GTA is carrying Aprilia?

This might be old news, but I was at BMW Toronto the other day and was told they've split ways with the Piaggio Group, ("it wasn't a good fit for us"). Does this mean that GP Bikes will be picking-up the Aprilia brand? Anyone in the know?
