Instead of chasing after the driver, i would have stayed and got a few witnesses first. Since if you have a few witnesses of the account, your insurance will treat it as a hit and run.

IMHO without the video, the car would be at fault regardless of what anyone says. With the video though, the bike would be at fault and probably be charged.
