I went out for a short ride to the coffee shop on December 31st. It was pretty nice actually, except the street car tracks are extra slippery, and my front tire had low tire pressure.
Man that's cheap! When my friends and I rented a sat phone for 1 month it was like... $270 or something ridiculous. But we had to have it as we went to a super remote place (Ladakh).
I wonder if they insure bikes older than 1981. I couldn't get my 1980 bike insured with anyone but jevco & one other... I think statefarm? Still, I only pay $560 which is not bad.

I'm flying to India next week for a 4 week trip... heading to Leh & the Ladakh region for a 19 day trek, and one of the things we want to do in Leh is to rent a couple of motorcycles and go for a scoot - much farther north than Manali. I couldn't imagine driving up all the way to...
I honestly couldn't tell you, I was too busy telling my friend about the insurance pounding they would be receiving than checking out the actual bikes. They were Japanese sport/super sport, that's about as much as I remember.
I saw them pulled over on the side of the road while driving past in a cage... one bike was on the truck, and there were at least 2-3 others on the side... 3 cop cars as well? This was north of Barrie half way to Port Severn... Didn't realize all 3 were busted!
When you survive your bear encounter be mindful of the fact that you've now hunted a bear without a license, probably in a provincial park (it's illegal to have fire arms in ANY parks in Canada / US), and as someone said, Moose are more dangerous and so is riding.

I've left my bike for over 24 hours at some side streets downtown with no midnight-7am reserved parking and no rush hour limits (when I'm drinking and don't want to ride home), never got tickets and the meter maids come around on the regular.
Killarney Provincial Park is truly the jewel of Ontario. I've done several 8 day canoe trips there, and hiked the entire La Cloche Silhouette trail at least once, off-trail hiked across the blue mountain range as well.
Highway 25 / Brackenrig Road is now super smooth where it was paved.
Muskoka Beach Road is okay, though sometimes on really hot days those tar snakes make it unbearable to be honest.
Southwood Road / highway 13 is less sandy now, and I'd say it's still worth it if you wish to connect with...
Based on your earlier posts, your battery is close to dead. Charge your battery to full, get a multi meter to test the voltage of your battery as well.
Example of a battery charger...
Here's one... ever decide to go down to the beach area during fireworks? Traffic is at an absolute standstill. I was trying to do the right thing and not filter, and even had a dude in a car tell me that he'd go between cars if he was me. I ended up just parking the motorcycle around the...
It's legal, and it's neither splitting or filtering. I've had it verified by one of the motorcycle police officers at one of the motorcycle shows. That being said... (1) look out for door prizes, (2) look out for pedestrians trying to cross, (3) look out for bicycles, especially ones behind...
Easy, everything gets washed when I get caught in a complete downpour. All the muskoka bugs gets washed off at that point, but in the mean time they're kept as badges of honour, and respect for the fallen (bugs).
