Merino wool is good, I grabbed a pair of Klim riding socks at GP for $10 on sale. Worth every penny! Good socks (and saxx!) are essential.

Yeah glad to hear you and the bike are both doing well!

There's one corner that has a huge root/frost heave on the inside lane (northbound in the first forest section iirc) that you don't see until it's too late. if you hit it fast enough it could easily put you in the other lane if not worse. Fun road, but you need to be paying attention!

Honestly the only time I've split is outside the city. At a light behind a semi in the middle of nowhere? I'll filter in front of it because I know I won't be holding anyone up.

I have a ramp I need to get rid of, this thing is a beast. 12"x8', folds in half for easy transportation. Heavily reinforced to take even the heaviest of road couches. I paid $75 so, I'd like $75. But I'm open to offers because I need it out of here.
