I got a reply back, the bike is an 05, being sold as is, but says it shouldn't need any work. I'll go take a look at it and see how it is in person, if he's willing to negotiate a bit on the price I'll probably go for it.

The height wasn't an issue after sitting on it, I can flat foot one side. And actually felt more comfortable than the ZX7 I had. Just gotta keep looking now try to find one.

I'd say buy it and enjoy it. They're really nice bikes, I've been enjoying mine for quite a few years now, and not planning to get rid of it any time soon. As long as you look after it, and keep it in good shape, it will hold some value, especially the rr.
