As long as there's no rain, I'll be in.
Pouring in Georgetown right now...
Forecast says there's a chance around 5pm. Likely won't last and will dry up fast.

That is good, but you need to read up on suspension tuning. Have a basic understanding of what does what, and why.
Preload, sag, rebound and compression damping (high and low speed). I'm sure your r6 is set way too stiff for street riding.
It'll be a wr250x ride for me...

Its a punched out ninja 500 engine.
I'd say its worse than the sv650 derived v-strom engine.
Utilitarian design. As @mimico_polak said, good commuter. Boring as dry toast.

It may be a good deal, but that bike is the epitome of boring.
The entire cb 500 platform is the white bread of motorcycling. That, and the 650 v-strom... easily forgettable bikes. If you want to pay attention to the scenery more than the machine, they're fine.

How many km did you end up putting on your Tuono?
I put 20,000km on mine.
Can't say my street triple is more fun than my Tuono v4 was, but its a close second.
I rode a 2015 fz-09 back to back with my street triple. The Triumph had much more refined fueling. Suspension was better. If I had to...
The right tool for the job.
Keep your v-strom.
The answer is a second bike.
Buy a crf300L, drz400s, klx300, or an older wr250r. 300lb bike, compared to a strom... at what? 450lbs? 500lbs?
Lighter, and far more forgiving.
