    What/how to fall?

I realize that, but the first two sentences of that paragraph do seem to have some bearing on sportbikes.

    What/how to fall?

I agree with nearly everything you say here..... What are your thoughts on this, specifically this paragraph. The rear brake is important: Even if you ride a sportbike that transfers most of its weight to the front wheel, during that first half-second or so, while the rear wheel is still...

    T-Rex Frame Sliders for 2011 CBR 250R

Yup, no issues for the spool adapters for the non abs model. There is sufficient clearance for the bracket, when no abs sensor is attached. For the frame sliders, only one m8 bolt was 3mm too long.

    T-Rex Frame Sliders for 2011 CBR 250R

All the hardware is grade 12.9, so no, they are not designed to bend, they are designed to be strong. The main bracket is very strong. The situation you describe is not one that I would be concerned about. If you are crashing that bad, who cares about your fairings! Frame sliders are really...

    T-Rex Frame Sliders for 2011 CBR 250R

I ordered my GF's kit on April 6th 2012 - received it April 20th (14 days). See my comments in red. Here's where the extra washers were needed.

    T-Rex Frame Sliders for 2011 CBR 250R

This issue still exists on the spool adapters. It's only presents itself as an issue as the chain wears and the axle gets moved back, which moves the ABS sensor back - which will interfere with the T-Rex spool adapter on the right side. I just emailed T-Rex today about this - hopefully they...

    T-Rex Frame Sliders for 2011 CBR 250R

I just installed a set of these on my GF's 2012 CBR250RA. I've gotta say, of all the no-cut sliders for any bike, these have to be among the strongest. Will post some pics shortly.

    test ride DRZ 400 SM

Buy the DRZ, and don't let go of the Z-750 till you are satisfied. That's what I did. Come think of it, I've done that with my last 4 bikes and now have a garage full. If I knew ya, I'd have no issues letting you beat on my DRZ, but as strangers, it's not as easy.

    Biker wanted by police

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: -...

dead battery in less than 24 hrs?!

Why did the mechanic charge the battery? what led to it needing to be charged? Your charging system is probably not working correctly. Could be the anything in the charging system without knowing anything else - this is my guess. A few very simple tests will isolate which component is not...

Oil level dropping really fast/2004 ZX6R

This was post #25 - you have just confirmed that your oil level is PERFECT - between the 2 lines. it does not matter what your oil level is when the engine is running. the sight glass is only there for checking oil when your bike is off, and level. As klr_guy hinted, you need not be concerned...
