CBR F4i not starting (video & info inside).

Surely that includes diag time, a compression/leakdown test + air filter cleaning, and fresh gas - maybe more!

I don't mean to advise against their advice, but why would you ever use any fuel other than what is recommended? I don't know if you have any motor work done that requires the use of higher octane fuel, I just don't know why someone would recommend higher octane! higher octane does not "clean...

Unless I read it wrong, the shop did not remove the head to manually clean the valves, they just flushed out the old gas and fired it up.

    GSXR Odometer Stuck

Another quick and easy solution I stumbled across was to use a cheap $10 bicycle speedometer/ODO. The wired (or wireless) kind with a magnetic sensor. I've read people have had great success with them by taking care to install the magnet a little better than you would on a bicycle, and once...

    GSXR Odometer Stuck

When I passed 99,999 kms on my SRAD, I searched high and low for a solution to the problem (really only thing that bothered me was the 2 trip meters also being frozen). What I did do, and worked well for me till till I crashed it at 123,000 kms, was to buy a Garmin Streetpilot 2720 (used - eBay...

    GPS power source issues

Can you measure the voltage of your USB power adapter 1. Ground to D+ 2. Ground to D- 3. Measure the resistance between D- and D+ It's possible your Garmin has 2 modes, (power/charge mode anddata/communicate mode). And the trigger for each mode is the signal at D+ and D-

Heads up!!!! Don't buy fom thus guy!!!

But you said he offered to pay you to lie? I assume that means he wanted to refund some or all of your money for you to leave good feedback. Am I mis-understanding? I think I picture of the broken piece would eliminate some of the questions here.

Heads up!!!! Don't buy fom thus guy!!!

You rated him on eBay before the transaction was complete??? IF he was trying to refund you money "pay you to lie" why would you rate him poorly as a seller? I always give sellers the opportunity to "make it right" before rating them poorly.

    Highbeams?

Re: Don't do it. Why didn't you just ask him to turn them off instead of telling him to leave the group?

    Supermoto Tubeless Conversion Ideas?

I did mine about 8000 kms ago and used marine goop, cause I had some on hand. I used 3/4 of a tube per rim. I did 2 coats, this is after the first coat, the 2nd coat is the same, just a little bigger diameter.

    Trying something new

4.5" wide rim, and your in luck cause I'm feeling useful. Measured like this I get this * I thought I posted this hours ago, but apparently I only previewed the post - thank you GTAM for having an autosave function. *

    Trying something new

Not sure if this will help, but on my DR-Z400SM, I have a 160 Dunlop Q2 and there is some minor chain rubbing on the tire, using the factory chain guide. It appears that there is similar clearance from my rim to the swingarm, but it's a different bike and just some cell phone pics with no real...

Boy, it sure is windy today

Great post, & thank you very much for that detailed explanation. I was not aware of the DCPD criteria. Good to know

Boy, it sure is windy today

I hear and like what you are saying, but I'm not understanding why the insurance company would waive the deductible when the at fault party is not identified. I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm just saying I don't understand why they would do this.

Boy, it sure is windy today

I've claimed hit and runs in the past and I was fully responsible for the deductible.

Boy, it sure is windy today

Is this a matter of fact? I would think both insurance companies would need each insured to pay the deducible unless one of them was found at fault.

How long will stabilized gas last in open / vented container?

really? What harm do you think stabilized gas after seasonal storage will cause to an engine you care about?

Drivers Abstract only goes up to 3 years?

Sounds like what you are looking for is your autoplus report, not your drivers abstract. http://portal.cgi-ibs.com/en-CA/iis/Pages/ConsumerAutoPlusReport.aspx
