Can you measure the voltage of your USB power adapter 1. Ground to D+ 2. Ground to D- 3. Measure the resistance between D- and D+ It's possible your Garmin has 2 modes, (power/charge mode anddata/communicate mode). And the trigger for each mode is the signal at D+ and D-

You rated him on eBay before the transaction was complete??? IF he was trying to refund you money "pay you to lie" why would you rate him poorly as a seller? I always give sellers the opportunity to "make it right" before rating them poorly.

I hear and like what you are saying, but I'm not understanding why the insurance company would waive the deductible when the at fault party is not identified. I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm just saying I don't understand why they would do this.

I've claimed hit and runs in the past and I was fully responsible for the deductible. :confused:
