All this talk of winter riding got me thinking about a guy who goes by the name bwoken tooth on advrider. He rode from I think Owen Sound to a remote native reservation way up north in sub zero temps.I'd post the video here but I don't know how.Anyone who is interested can search YouTube or...
Private pilot-I spent the winter in Ellliot lake in 2010 or 2011( can't recall exactly).Their was a day in February the temp was 14 c.I rode highway 108 down to 17 ,did a stretch of 17 and then headed back to Elliot lake,That was an incredible day.
I took my bike off the road in October last year to do a somewhat extensive project on it in anticipation of a ****** winter and was kicking myself the whole time when the weather turned out to be awesome.A serious face palm for weeks

If your looking for more comfort you could always throw a set of converti bars on it or dirt bike bars, just a suggestion.Gorgeous bike btw, really like the 675 myself
I realize this convo is about motorcycle lifts but imho the average backyard mechanic's money is better spent on an engine hoist, pulling motors, swingarms, lower triples (tearing a bike down)etc Is much easier with an engine hoist.Sure you can do this stuff other ways but if you don't have...

Their was a black bike at this booth with a gold falcon on the tank(think acp customs were the builders ? ),my favorite bike at the show,If someone on here has a picture of it maybe they'd be kind enough to post it up,definitely deserves some props, imo
Spent a little over an hour at the show...saw some cool bikes, saw Dog the bounty hunter, caught the last stunt show of the day and bounced. Was worth the 20 bucks ;)......edit-The bike with the "Hipster Killer" gas tank was Killer, lots of nice bikes though ......
