    Lifting points on a bike

You can perform the majority of service tasks with a rear stand, that will lift the bike by the swing arm. These are good for chain maintenance since the rear wheel is off the ground and spins freely allowing you to easily clean and lube the chain. If you need to service the front forks then a...

RACE mentor program & discounts @ Shannonville

Always looking for a hook up ;) I don't plan on mentoring this year simply because with the two bikes I won't be able to give much time to mentor anyone.

    2017 RACE schedule

    1. No. If you've taken FAST or Racer5 you should be good to go. It's on the license application. 2. You can race in the classes that your bike is allowed. However; if you're dangerously below the pace organizers may restrict you. Consult the rules book...

The Michelins are fine, I raced an entire season on them on my 250. You will be better off upgrading your suspension components.

    racing set up advice

You're hijacking you own thread off topic but hey it's your thread ;) I can only speak for how RACE runs, but I'm guessing SOAR maybe similar. Friday would be practice, broken up into classes much like a track day just not track day pace. Saturday morning you get a couple practice sessions...

    racing set up advice

Sounds like you've got most of the basic stuff covered. After the first round you'll have a list of things you should have brought for the next round ;) No one has mentioned it, but it's nice to bring your spares with you just in case. I'm talking spare controls. Clip-ons and foot pegs.

lwt racers RACE - friday practice question

Like Dave said there will be two classes. I didn't want to mention all the 300's, 400's and 500's that you'd have to go against in lwt ;) (or lwt sportsman....not sure what the name of the class is going to be) Yes you should have bought that one, but hindsight is always 20/20.

lwt racers RACE - friday practice question

No need to wait, just jack that bike. ;) The grid in lwt is going to be pretty big this coming season. There will be lots of 250's you can mix it up with.
