    507 not like heaven.....

I ride 507 almost every week as it's basically the only road going north worth riding (from my area anyway). The 507 is just the starting point for a good ride. My friends and I are grateful it's in poor shape because it somewhat deters the TO squids from using it. I know a few locals in the...

    Question about pinlock shields

I tried the pinlock insert with my new shoei helmet and found the vision to be just a little off. I couldn't understand why I unable to keep up with my buddies until I realized it could be the vision issue. Once I removed the pinlock they struggled to keep up with me. I doesn't take much to make...

    Southwood 13

Anyone been on it with an update? I would like to ride it on my way to Sudbury next weekend. If it's not paved then it's no-go. Sent from my SM-G970W using GTAMotorcycle.com mobile app

Hwy. 518 gravel work , Blackwater Lake Rd & Hwy 2

This used to be my favorite road. Road it Thursday and found it hardly any fun. It's bumpy as hell with the horrible new substandard paving. It was in better condition before their botched resurfacing. Ravenscliff rd is ok, Tally-ho-swords road is great and #3 from Rosseau to Huntsville is...

    Lower Faraday Rd (getting repaved)

And a few critters trying to cross the road. I nearly hit some sort of vermin. Sent from my SM-G970W using GTAMotorcycle.com mobile app

Big street racing night in Toronto?

I live near Mosport. I get "mosport music" often. Sometimes I get out a lawn chair and listen and enjoy for awhile. What drives me nuts are the screaming little p@#$ks in the swimming pool next door. Sent from my SM-G970W using GTAMotorcycle.com mobile app

    Fortnine dropped the ball.

The union bashing is getting old. Do anti unionists enjoy your weekends, 40 work week, vacation, health care? Stop whining, get an education and a better job...oh wait breaking unions is the result of "made in China" syndrome. Sent from my SM-G970W using GTAMotorcycle.com mobile app

    Finding Washrooms when riding (covid)

Closed washrooms should be considered a human rights violation. It is simply impossible to do without unless one doesn't care where they unload. F@#K Covid19 and open the washrooms. I'll get off my soap box now (and maybe pee behind it?).

Calling Anyone That Has GoPro Attached To Their Helmets

Just watch out between Peterborough and Lindsay. There is a cop that has a special hate on for GoPro's on helmets. He will fine you and confiscate your lid and leave you stranded on the side of the road. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest his arm pits. Happy Apexes.

    Trailering motorcycle

Thanks for your help everyone. I think I'll risk Walmart, park near the back in pull-thru parking spaces, make a peace offering purchase, unload and ride the Muskokas until I've had enough. Load up and head back home...(with a Timmies and Listen to Dire Straights). Happy Apexes.

    Trailering motorcycle

I had a traumatic crash last year (after 38 years of riding) and busted up my pelvis. That's not the real reason for trailering just part of it. In reality I'm just beat after 8-12 hour ride and would rather not ride the boring straight roads of southern Ontario.

    Trailering motorcycle

The 507 is just the beginning. I usually end up in Barry's bay or beyond. Taking on Letterkenny rd, Old Barry's bay rd etc is great riding and easily takes up the whole day. By the time I return to Buckhorn area I'm done. Trailering the last leg home is comfortable and usually in the dark or...

    Trailering motorcycle

I have completed setting up a trailer this spring solely (this time of year anyway) for fairly local motorcycle adventures. It's now fast and easy to load, secure and unload the bike as required. I permanently installed a wheel chock and 6 tie-down points. I have trailered my bike up to Hwy...

Hwy. 518 gravel work , Blackwater Lake Rd & Hwy 2

I hope 518 is done soon. My annual Sudbury trip during Canada day weekend is approaching and 518 is part of the route.

    Hindle Sale - 15% off

I called and found you cannot go there to see the product(s). It's a manufacturing plant, not a show room. They offer PC V, autotune and dyno service as well. I like to see the product before purchasing. A few years ago at the TO bike show Hindle's products were there and I found their welds...

Who has a new ride this year?

I also recently got my second one. One for the bike lift and one bolted to the 5x8 trailer. There on for $59 now.

    Covid era motorcycle adventure options.

I usually ride in Ontario and found during C19 ordeal that washrooms are few and far between. For example Haliburton systematically closed all public washrooms. Going without lunch is one thing but washrooms aught to be a human rights issue. Just my 2 cents.

    Manufacturer recommended tire replacement.

Last fall I purchased my first new ABS motorcycle (Kaw ZX10R). As with all SS bikes tire replacement is always on the horizon... I was reading through the service manual and it insists on replacing the tires with Bridgestone Battlax racing street RS10R L. The manual goes on about handling...

    Kawasaki 2011-2015 ZX10R service manual.

For sale: Kawasaki 2011-2015 ZX10R service manual (non ABS). Printed form, bound in 4" 3 ring binder. This is a complete manual, gently used and well organized. I have quite a bit of time, ink and paper invested in this so I need $40 firm. This is a good deal considering a new manual is in the...
