Repair Princess auto motorcycle lift. Hydraulic actuator cylinder seal (o-ring) failure.
I'm still struggling to get the air-lock problem solved.
GRRR got better things to do...
In my 41 years in the trades I've seen all kinds of horrors. Bearing buddies a cheep at princess auto and get lubed prior to any use. Grease is also cheep. Changing bearings on the side of a road is no fun.
I bought this at Lowes for $1300 a few years ago. I can't believe it's now $1900.
It was the only small trailer I could find with a 2X6's for a wood floor. Others have that cheep mesh S**t.
I added an articulated wheel chock, six floor tiedown points, spare wheel and bearing buddies.
I also...
I just ordered a e-mountain bike. Peddle assist, no throttle. I'll bet that is a loop hole. Anyway I'm using mine off road. Yall with dirt bikes don't run me over ok.
For a 2015 Kaw ZX10R with group rate from my employer was $700 year.
Group rate disappeared, ins co dropped ss bikes and I'm now at $2100 year for 2019 zx10r.
For $2100 I may be able to do track days (once I jump through all the hoops)
2 years ago I came off the bike (totalled it) and found myself in the hospital for a month.
I am paying the insurance extortion now and I'm almost done with this S**t.
At the time it was 38 years without incident. I hit some gravel and came off.
I'm thinking of just doing track days and...
I picked up a small piece of spring steel wire in the rear tire. I plugged the tire and rode all day with no issue. Checked a few times and psi was acceptable. 2 days later tire deflated by about 15psi. Ordered new tire. Shame because tire has more than 1/2 it's life left.
Too bad a no-mar...
So you're calling the entire nuclear industry liars? We most certainly use an accelerometer station to calibrate torque wrenches. If I didn't then I would have been terminated decades ago.
Perhaps your definition of an accelerometer and ours is different?
I have also uses various types of...
Without an accelerometer it's anyone's guess. I would expect a snap-on product to be superior to a Canadian tire tool.
Having said that, an un-abused and good condition torque wrench is better than no torque wrench or just guessing.
My personal torque wrenches are only left in the "on"...
I've been a machinist, millwright and heavy industrial mechanic/technician for 41 years. I have seen all types of horrors so nothing surprises me anymore.
Where I used to work we had to calibrate torque wrenches before and after each use with an accelerometer and enter the tool number...
That's it!! I'm done. Headed off to the garage and going to invent a steam/coal powered motorcycle. As per the first law of heat and thermal dynamics, I should get about 3km per ton of coal lol.
See how silly this is? You can't get more energy out of said unit of energy (see first law of...
