They'll soften over time, especially a few hot sweaty rides burning you case they seem quite tight. And yes, wearing them standing up looks like you took a shitnin your pants, that is normal. Really good stuff though.. worth the hassle
For street use, are you sure that the s1000r doesn't pulled more than the s1000rr? With the hearing and engine, it pulls a lot more at low rpm. Sure, once you hit 100+ the RR may be better but before that, the R is crazy.
Check alpinestar. I was able to outfit my son and he's 5'3 / 80lbs.. granted, he's got a women's xs but next one will be men xs. If that's still too large, look into Macna! (Booster in Europe I think)...
That's the way to do it. If you're waiting on parts, you can use the 2nd one in the meantime.

I think that the quotes should go around "physique".. ;)
Check Icon as well. Supposed for the typical american. No idea about quality though, I doubt that it's up there for the cheap ones.
That's definitely not the case for my local retailer in Ottawa (613motorsports). Some of the good stuff is already being sold and even sold out for this season. He said that this winter has been super busy, likely because of the nice december weather.
As for the OP, try a bunch of brands...
