What a difference a day makes. Almost immediately into the twisties, and barely any traffic.
Headed out of New Philadelphia, OH and towards the lake here. I took Hwy 39/212/542 and
this is Lake Atwood:
I continued along OH 39 (which I recommend) and eventually you get into the Ohio River...
OK so here's the thing - I thought I'd be getting on to the big ferry to cross Lake Erie - but -
I guess they just have a lot more people going from Leamington to Pelee Island than they
do going all the way to Sandusky - so I was on the baby ferry - fits about 12 cars total and
the deck is...
I wanted to vote often, but then I thought - Hey, I ride 95% of the time out in the country, and there's very little rage out there.
Most times it's not pure rage, it's road annoyance. So, seldom overall.
Cities push me into often.
Today's forecast looks awesome - the highest temperature ever recorded in the SWO region. Hotter than Mumbai! Whoo Canadian record breaker!

Ring Around The Erie + mini Ride Report
Yikes, I didn't realize the August long weekend was coming up so fast!

which will get me some views of the rolling hills like this
and, of course, a top case full of cherry coke and bourbon to...

components rather than the...
There are more motorcycles here than I could count! We were at this museum for about 5 hours,
and we probably didn't see everything. If you're interested in the history of bikes, then you can't
miss this place. We were able to leave the hotel at 8am and do the Cherohala Skyway and the
Dragon...
How's your weather looking? I'm going down a completely different way than you - Sarnia - Detroit - Cincinnati - Louisville - and the
forecast has changed from crap to sunshine (yay!)
Of course my friend pointed out that Louisville had a tornado on Tuesday night - thanks buddy.
I'm also now set to do this trip with a friend on his Strom, me on the Ninja Transcontinental (is that name too long?) - but backwards as well.
Will be blasting down to Barber Museum first, then back up the BRP et al
Maybe we'll meet someone here at a local watering hole. My stops are in...
Re: Rider Down - Me: Steeles & Mississauga (cannot start new threads in fallen rdrs)
As someone who has experienced the black-blue ballz of a tank-to-nads collision, glad to hear you came out of this one alive. Fondle them with love!
