Don't cut the pin ! Lift the stand up off the ground and wiggle the pin in first then extend the stand to the ground and now you will see the angle will not rub the intake. You are probably extending the stand from the ground up to the triple and this is wrong

If you would consider a used bike you really ought to consider the VFR800 ABS linked brakes FI fuel efficiency very passenger friendly lots of after market support and when that Vtec kicks in you get all the power you need not to mention Honda reliability I have owned a 98 VFR - awesome sound...

google coles notes wiki whatever only 500 made for WSB Homologation and they were $30k then, standard kit ohlins, carbon fiber, etc etc. quick searches show values from $20k - $25k USD are they worth it ? who knows ... but that would be a sweet ride... I have always kept an eye open for one of...
