Gonna have to agree with the others. I'd sign a petition for greater motorcycle awareness on the MTO tests, greater motorcycle training requirements, greater driver training and licensing requirements, actual enforcement of aggressive and stupid moves by cars and motorcycles (like not checking...
Come to Asia where you can park your bike wherever you want. Encourages people to ride because parking a car is a pain. As long as what they ride isn't a 2-stroke it's better for the environment.
It bothers me enough just inhaling smoke from people who are puffing away in their cars; can't say I've ever had this happen.
But I don't understand how people think they can just toss their butts on the ground or out their window. They're garbage and should be disposed of properly. I'd love to...
7:40 this morning pulled over to assist a rider who had come off. Looked like injured leg and rib but he was walking with assistance once EMS showed up. GWS!
Same here. Pass people, filter, do whatever you want but do it in a way that's non-aggressive. Horns are like a button to turn on rage mode for some drivers on the receiving end.
Both are safer than doing neither. Filtering saved my body and bike in one incident; not sure how well I would've fared if I'd been in the place I was if I didn't filter. I wish I had cameras for that one to demonstrate.
I wasn't able to see the type of bike it was, no, but the rider is answered in the comments above. And based on how serious it may be after these comments I don't want to speculate, but I'll provide my account anyway.
I wasn't sure why he lost control; seemed a bit random to me. Anyway, the...
Anyone know what happened after the rider crashed in the first lap of the Superbike Amateur race (today, Sunday)? We were right at turn 8 and saw the whole thing but didn't stick around much longer after the race was cancelled. Didn't look like too bad of a crash but curious what happened anyway.
Bingo. It's important to maintain a slower but correct line than try and maintain speed with an unsafe line. This wouldn't have happened if she had that correct line and slowed down for it. But very glad that she came out okay and learned from it; experiential education is often the most...
I'd much rather be a door prize at low speed than be hit from the rear. And there was an incident where if I didn't filter I would have been destroyed.
I was referring to the current illegality of filtering at a stop light to avoid getting rear ended. Plus reducing traffic congestion for everyone.
And I totally agree about the problems with our licensing. We need a massive overhaul and would happily pay more money out of my own pocket for a...
