Another guy puts energy drink in his tank

Pretty sure there are only certain approved containers, not all are 'jerry can' but they have to have a certain marking on them. I think to do with the build up of fumes...

Rider on the 400 north of 401 .. someones in trouble

I'm pretty sure the Police aren't allowed to engage in a 'high speed' chase when there is traffic? They tend to go to other means to catch you at that point, and then throw the book at you for running.

    SHOEI RF-1100 ECE 22.05 Rated?

I'm pretty sure it says in the manual for the helmet, that it does not SHIP with the ECE rating on the helmet unless sold in a country that requires it.

looking at 2002 cbr f4i as a second bike.

Great bike, definitely the CCT is an issue. Odds are if its a 2002 its already been replaced at least once (hopefully with a manual one). I'm currently on a 2002 F4i and loving it

    Helmet Replacement Discounts?

Yeah my thoughts exactly, they can gain a lot of information this way. I remember being pretty impressed BELL did this for their bicycle helmets. I've contacted ICON to see what they say, and might out of own interest contact a few other places.

Alternatively, does anyone know anywhere that asks for crashed helmets to do research on them? If so let me know!

    Helmet Replacement Discounts?

Hello all, Just a questions, cause I can't seem to find the information online and wondered if anyone had some experience with this. I know that with BELL bicycle helmets, they have a program if you crash in it they will subsidize a replacement helmet if you return the crashed one. They did...

#1 Reason to get your full M right away

I plan to do my M2 exit as close to the 18 months as I can. For two reasons, 1) I plan to do it through one of the weekend courses, so having some more time with an instructor is valuable and 2) Insurance rates improve with your M for some companies. So I may be able to get more competitive quotes.

Is being nervous on a bike normal? Or a sign to get off lol

Its certainly a bit normal, I took my course last summer and then didn't get a bike due to insurance costs. This summer I purchased a bike off a buddy, and it was a lot bigger than what I had used at the course. Had to bring it from King City down to the Waterfront on my first ride with it to...

Close call, lesson learned - Awareness and staying calm

Thanks for all the responses. Definitely reminded me a few things from the RTI course I took last summer "assume everyone is aggressively looking to kill you" I think was what one of the guys said. Often times its not, its ignorance, distraction or something else entirely but the assumption can...

What they don't tell you, this transformation only happens once. In factory... Still, not a bad commercial to grab some attention.

Close call, lesson learned - Awareness and staying calm

So this week I have been riding to work, taking advantage of the nicer weather and learning my bike/riding techniques more. It's a bit of a challenge in the morning traffic but I'm learning a lot. This morning, I'm approaching an intersection that I note had just changed to a green light a...

    Matching Rev's / downshifting

I'm still learning this technique myself, but I'm finding that once you're shifting to second or even into first if you haven't been smooth its often better to not blip and just hold in the clutch and brake. That might not be the best practice though, since you're stuck out for a gear if the...
