    Alpinestars fitment

Keep in mind, if its leather it will 'relax' slightly as well. I went with a 42" where I normally wear a 40" suit jacket. Fits perfectly

    My early stage HUD display

Very neat! Would be cool to try to see what it is like. Since it is on an iOS device, have you thought about Siri/Voice Control components so you can use it while on the move - not requiring stopping to change any inputs? Great job though, very resourceful.

Motorcycle Parking Fees Recommended without Notice or Public Consultation

Re: City council voting on getting rid of free parking for motorcycles today Just getting up to date on this thread - lots to read. Thanks everyone for including updates - and continuing to do so. I have contacted my Councillor, who voted YES to the amendment, but ABSENT to the vote (asked for...

    Disclosure - Radar Information & Video/Audio Recordings

Hello all, I'm wondering if anyone has any helpful suggestions, or experience asking for disclosure of the above listed items. Specifically any audio or video recordings of the traffic stop, as well as technical/user manual type information on the radar equipment used by an officer? Not sure...

    Oil Filter Wrench

Thanks everyone for all the useful suggestions! I spent a few hours running through everything yesterday and the bike is now put away. I ended up picking up a socket set, and used that to get the old filter off (K&N now uses a 17mm bolt FYI). All in all, not nearly as daunting as I thought it...

    hd hero2 out

That's pretty crazy, I live right near there and often hear bikes ripping along the roads and see some wild stuff (squeezing between trucks and the walls coming into the city etc). Good on you to document your trips. Do you keep a log or only any 'interesting' stuff?

    2011 Honda CBR250 for wife

The all black models look nice, though marginally less visible maybe? Between the two I'd go with the solid black model.

    Oil Filter Wrench

I thought seafoam was, it looked like a few people were suggesting it as a good option on the forum. Maybe I'm wrong? I'll have to look at the options in store I think

    Oil Filter Wrench

Good point! I should be picking the stuff up this evening, so I can probably swing into a store while I still have it with me. Then I'll have to plan out my whole 'winterizing' process a bit so I know if I need to pick anything else up (guessing seafoam and a trickle charger of some sort)...

    Oil Filter Wrench

Awesome, thank you very much! Very helpful and fast responses here which is appreciated. I'm looking forward to starting to get my 'hands on' the bike more now so you'll probably see more of me in here.

    Oil Filter Wrench

Yeah I'll probably take the fairings off - and clean them at the same time (while waiting around for oil to drain etc). Where would I find one of those tools?

    Oil Filter Wrench

Hey all, Sorry if this has been answered before - the search I did wasn't picking anything obvious up. As this is the end of my first season, I'm going to 'brave' changing the oil myself to put the bike to bed. The guy I bought it off of walked me through the first one when I got it, but I...

    Commuting today? 11/17

Yup, rode in this morning. Probably putting the bike away this weekend (after an amazing first season of riding) - squeezing the last few days out by toughing out a little cold. Hopefully no flurries though, planning to go get some of the stuff I need to winterize post work.

    Good point, thanks!

    Winter Storage: Tires

Seems to be somewhat of a consensus - thanks guys! I'll use the stand to finish off the winterizing maintenance and then move it around once and a while. Will make me miss riding days more during the winter though I imagine!

    Winter Storage: Tires

Quick question for everyone: I'm planning to store my bike in the underground parking at my place. Wont drop bellow about 10c in there... Regarding the tires, I have a rear stand - but should I be looking at getting a front one to keep the front tire off the ground? Or just go down and move it...

    State Farm - Ticket Policy

Thanks! I submitted my not guilty thing yesterday. So I'll start up a thread in the other section once the date is clearer!

    State Farm - Ticket Policy

Yeah, that was kind of my thinking here. Thanks again!
