Just out of curiosity, would it not be possible to go through civil court eg. Small claims to get back the cost that was incurred as a result of this. You would have all the info required to file. I'm just curious as to if this has ever been done?

I really like the new DL1000 . Since they restyled it seems like a great contender. No vibes, lots of torque , great on gas. It doesn't seem to do anything amazing but it does everything well and you can go anywhere with it.

How many km on the bike? When was your last valve lash adjustment.

Have to agree here. The new Vstrom is really a beautiful machine with a true time tested engine.
