If you would never buy one then for you, the value drops 100% not 50-60%. ;)
Seriously though - why not? Does it bother you so much that you don't know what happened exactly? What is it?
I'd rather for that destination to be a waterfall, a cave or a mountain than a BBQ.
Personally, if I wish to socialize, I don't need the bike.
... But this is not just limited to cruisers. A lot of sport bike riders use their vehicles as a social venue as well. L&L is a perfect example...
That is somewhat correct. A lot of them have been replaced by naked, half faired - sport and sport touring bikes. True super sports are a bit more rare nowadays.
I concur: short, slow, hot, tedious rides. Too many motorcycles at once. Too much socializing. Not all that comfortable sharing the road with a bunch of strangers either, especially that many of them have no clue about riding staggered and/or proper hand signals and overall etiquette.

Not going to find Klim for under $350 new but yes, they make excellent products.
I find that S&S and Icon are designed more for flashy looks than anything else. Joe Rocket is generally a decent low end company.
Teknic used to be a good cheap option but they are out of business I believe.
Keep in mind that this Uhaul motorcycle trailer is designed for one vehicle only. You may need a larger utility trailer (still cheap - $25 I think?).
Also, consider that these are heavy *** trailers (both the bike and utility).
Honestly, so many manufacturers screw up the fuel tank size on their products.
All street bikes should be capable of doing 300-400km with ease. My current motorcycle manages around 280km which is passable for me but a tad annoying. Sometimes I go to places where gas stations are sparse...

Bonus - some old sweaty leathers valued at around $3,000 seemingly because the bike only worth 2G.
For the money he's asking, you can buy a 10 year...
There's a market but unfortunately manufacturers are not hitting it at all. A light, highway capable motorcycle that can take you to a crown land and let you enjoy some single track forest trails as well as logging roads up north, without running out of gas after 90km. The best bike for this...
I towed a bike from Montreal in a U-haul motorcycle trailer and did not have one single problem. I know several other people who have towed vehicles in open trailers from Quebec as well.
I don't think it's a law that's heavily enforced. Obviously you are taking some sort of a chance but not...
It's impossible to have the 100s of thousands of different parts in stock guys. That's not realistic.
I settle for few days shipping. I usually order my own parts online but when I can't find something or can't wait a month then I'll go to a local shop because they can generally get stuff...
That also depends on how the suspension reacts and the ability of the braking system to dissipate energy. You may not see any difference with a small number like 20lbs.
If you can lose 20lbs without affecting your health then go for it. Who cares about the bike. You will feel way better. I need to do the same. Trim 20-30lbs permanently.
