Great info on the lightweight production class, thanks guys. Don't have any lightweight machine right now, but perhaps a CBR250 or Ninja250/300 in the future/next year maybe.

Problem with loud exhaust it's more behind the bike so likely not going to work like a horn, or save lives. But luckily most bikes (that pass a valid safety cert) have a horn. Nice thing about stock exhaust is the bike manufacturer already invested heavily in making it work for the bikes' engine...

Congrats on the Kawi. Will be a sweet bike. It's great for fitness and develops skills more challenging than any other type of riding. So much to learn and so close to nature, it's the best. Also great family activity.
